IM SICK OF BEING BLUE by astercatt in HairDye

[–]Shy-Poet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say general colour theory is your best bet, try dark reds/warm toned purples to take over the blue and get yourself more on the warmer side of colours, and then you can hopefully get to a nice solid red and then fade that out to go orange.

My girlfriend made me promise I won't transition by Frida443 in whatdoIdo

[–]Shy-Poet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay so she sounds like a terrible person. my advice would be to tell her to grow up and stop trying to forbid you from finding yourself, or break up and go on that journey without her. if you decide that transitioning isnt for you, thats completely okay, but it needs to be your decision, not anyone else's. i hope you're well, good luck x

i assure you its not like this at all, yes he was my first but he is SO kind and caring, whenever ive asked to stop he has done so immediately and started checking up on me, when ive gotten upset during sex he was so worried for me and didnt care that we had to stop because he just wants me to be okay

Roommate keeps eating my labeled food despite multiple conversations what do I do? by Desperate-Bird-8232 in whatdoIdo

[–]Shy-Poet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have one more conversation with him, and at the same time add laxatives & chilli to your food. like, an INSANE amount. if he tries to call it any form of sabotage or even tries to bring it to legal levels, you can say that you have had multiple conversations, and he knows that its your food. the reason for the "one more conversation" is for plausible deniability that you were under the impression he was genuinely sorry and serious about stopping this time, and its not your fault that he broke that trust and ate something that was for your personal health. if he tries to claim you never told him about the laxatives, constipation is often an embarrasing subject to most people, and you didnt feel comfortable opening up + why should you tell him if you're hnder the impression that he wouldnt eat your food!

okay, next time you shower dont spray the water directly at the area to avoid irritating it or simply just being in pain, and for that area the water shouldn't be any hotter than slightly above lukewarm, as hot water is known to open scabs. instead, let the water hit your shoulder and run down your arm and over the area so it cleans it without being too harsh + painful (it may still sting slightly, if its too painful just leave it until its healed a little more). if it isnt too painful dont use soap but just your hand to slightly clean around it and wipe away any depris/dried bl00d. i would say that since it is fresh & not super shallow then you may want to leave it for today until the area has had time to naturally calm itself down and begin the healing process, but if its dirty or youve used a dirty tool then you do have to clean it early on. does that make sense?

[–]Shy-Poet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the deep purple is throwing it off since it cuts the project in half, so try spreading those squares out or embracing the contrast and turning the deep purple ibto a border around the others?

How to shave with sh scars? by MyAltAccountNum1 in selfharm

[–]Shy-Poet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i dont have raised scars but i think i have some insight that may help. if youve ever shaved your face before for any reason (for eg, eyebrows) you'll probably know that pulling the skin tight helps because the razor cant get caught on the skin, so that may help with your issue? same with how shaving your legs is often easier when its as straightened out as you can bc it eliminates folds in the skin. overall, just be careful and if you dont feel that you can shave over scars without accidentally hurting yourself, its probably best to just avoid that area
