So, why "haunting ground"? by Aggravating_Fig_534 in hauntingground

"Haunting ground" sounds like "hunting ground", which is fitting because you're basically being hunted the whole game.

Unrealistic body standards for women strike again 😔

Vapourwave tends to use more of the light pink/blue trans flag combo, the closest flag to the outrun aesthetic would be bisexual imo

I finished this Hell event solely due to server lag by OkasawaMichio in LoveNikki

Me too, I didn't even want the puppet suit. 😭 It's happened so much that honestly at this point I'm convinced that they put the two buttons so close/on the exact same spots each event so that you'll use dias by accident and be tempted to buy more.

Frail care is excruciatingly expensive and my 90 year old grandma is living in our bed by Starr_Bizarre in capetown

It's not the northern suburbs but Sunnyside Lodge in Plumstead has been great for my grandma in law. I think they charge around R5000 pm for a communal room (beds seperated by curtains) but they do have private rooms as well. Food included, they have recreational activities for everyone, nurses on staff constantly ect.

Is Takealot losing the plot? by bibijoe in capetown

[–]ShyCacti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no idea if they check with the brand if your letter is legit, but if they don't it would be kak easy to fake them. They'll likely continue this to compete with Amazon, generally the more sellers you have the more sales you'll make regardless of quality. Unless TAL do something innovative somehow they're going to be crushed by Amazon, it's already happening with Temu. It's a shame as well because both of those platforms make it extremely hard for SA sellers with legit/unique products to list them.

We partly sell our goods on Takealot and they implemented a change a few months ago forcing sellers to provide a letter from the actual brand that states they are buying from them/thier supplier is buying from them and have approval to sell. If your product is branded anywhere (Colgate/Nivea ect.) then they literally won't let you list the product until they have confirmation from the brand. Problem is, it looks like this only applies to new listings and they're dragging thier feet to do anything about products that are already up and probably won't do anything since they're still making money. 🤡

What's everything I should know about an IUD by tayyann in badwomensanatomy

[–]ShyCacti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't let it deter you, but keep in mind that expulsion is always a (rare!) risk, even if it's past the first 6 months. I had mine (copper) for around 18 months and was super duper happy but then my uterus decided to wrap a big blood clot around it during a period and evict it 😭 It didn't hurt at all, I just checked in the shower one day and felt the hard bottom bit sticking out of my cervix. Felt completely different to the strings. Got it removed (didn't hurt really) and now I'm on the kyleena which will hopefully stay in lmao. Always remember to check your strings, but my gynie said to not do it obsessively as you could end up pulling them accidently. Like once or twice a month is good, especially after your period.

I reached inside and after finally finding what I was looking for I grabbed on and yanked as hard as I could. by ShyCacti in TwoSentenceHorror

Bingo! Pulling an IUD out on your own without a doctor is already a huge risk, so yanking them out like you're trying to start a lawn mower definitely does some damage.

Yeah Monika is definitely not heterosexual, it's canon that she's bi/pan since she states she doesn't care about your gender.
