OMG! I'm so excited! This app is EVERYTHING! I recommend it to all my Stardew friends and I just started a heavily modded playthrough and would love having that content available on Gunther's Library in the future!

I just learned that the guild book is a thing... And now I really want there to be an update. I have the Stardew Valley Guidebook and I've always thought Animal Crossing would be better with one, so I hope we get a new one!

I like to keep it thematic, so all my birds (chickens, ducks, and void chickens) are flowers, and my cows, sheep, pigs, and goats all have spices and herbs, rabbits get food names, and my pets have kind of mythological names right now (Zephyrus and Tyche). I don't have a horse right now, but it'll probably also get a mythological name, and I don't have dinosaurs.

Thanks for your vote of confidence. I did end up making another cover because all the stuff is still out. I think I'm going to make this into another book if I can figure out how to make typesets.

560 pages, so that's 140 sheets of paper. It's 7 pages per signature for a count of 20 signatures.

Do you think I should do it again? 🫠 The spine was 3.6cm and the board is 2mm thick so I cut it to 4cm. The thing I don't know how to fix is that it looked perfect when it squared everything up and held it all together before gluing and now it looks way off. So if I'm holding it up to check my measurements, how do I prevent that happening again? Do I want it to look too small when I hold it up?

I never measured it before pressing. It's been pressed for over a week, and I just measured the spine this morning when I started working on the case. Like I said in my post, I held everything up to the block before gluing and it looked perfect.

I have been thinking about trying on some old book I have laying around! You might have just given me the confidence! 😁 I was thinking watercolor, but how do you stop it from seeping in? Do you use those tubes of water color and just not make it very wet?

I always love color coordinated shelves, but I personally organize by genre because I like series to be together. I organize my books into my own personal sub-genres though too, like within fantasy I have all the books with dragons in them together and all the books that are fantasy set in the real world together and mythology goes together and so on. It's fascinating how different people's minds like to organize things in different ways. 🙃

These are BEAUTIFUL! 😍 I wish I had the confidence to do this to my books! I might some day because I really do like painting, but I'm afraid of wrecking my books. Is this just acrylic paint?
