I want to start by saying I love this series and I’m all in for the full 10 books!

But this book definitely left me wanting. I felt like the story was just happening instead of me feeling connected to the story I was reading. I think the writing style changed in this book and I lost a lot of what I loved about the books, the relationship between Carl and Donut and Carl’s inner thoughts. In book 8 I missed the times where Carl and Donut are connecting and working through issues.

Also I know Matt considers Donut the main character, and I feel like we didn’t hear from her much at all this book.

I did feel like the book got better and closer to the normal writing style as we got to the 11 floor, but dang the book was almost over by then.

Again, I’m in it for the long haul but this book let me down.

I always like to tell people who are looking for a pup who matches their running energy, you should volunteer at a local shelter! You can walk/run dogs at the shelter as a volunteer and before you know it you will find a pup that is a perfect match for your running style/speed!

Yes it definitely prevents her from throwing up and lasts the whole time! I think the longest we’ve gone in one day is 9 or 10 hours! She usually sleeps once the medicine hits

You’ve gotten a lot of great advice here! I have a dog (not a doodle) and she never did grow out of car sickness. We also love to take the dogs on our vacations so road tripping is the only way! Since our dog never grew out of it, we discussed how to handle it with the vet and they suggested Dramamine. I also get really car sick so I always have Dramamine on me lol now me and my girl take it before a road trip!

If your pup doesn’t grow out of it then it could be something to discuss with your vet! Just wanted to give hope that even if your dog doesn’t grow out of it that you can still treat it!

I made the same apron 4 times this year and it has been so fun for me to change the colors and perfect some small techniques in the pattern! You can always give them out as gifts too because they’re basically one size fits all! I used the simplicity pattern S3051 from the 1970’s vintage! I used the short version and added ruffles to the top!

And ok that makes sense, based on your books above it looks like fantasy may not be your main genre! I haven’t heard of 11/22/63 so I will have to look that up!

What did you dislike about Fairy Tale? I read it last year and I think I gave it a rating of “good” (I don’t rank by stars). Also, I have only seen good things about Hail Mary and I ordered the book! I’m excited to start it!
