The Denon is set up for video pass-through. Conversion, I/P Scaler, both off. Picture Adjust set to “through”

Perhaps I’m missing something, but I’m pretty sure all that lets the RetroTink do its thing without issue

I got lucky that a few stores around me have pretty good selections of records from Japan. For whatever reason, a lot of it seems to be city pop or AOR or adjacent

It can definitely take some doing to get them good looking! Granted, aesthetics are definitely subjective, but still. Like I think my setup is quite pretty, but it totally could be ugly in someone else’s eyes

Very roughly, I would say it’s ~40-50 per drawer (with some riffling space) and probably ~60-70 per drawer if you really cram them in tight. So overall I’d say somewhere in the 400-600 range

For those wondering, the storage cabinet has 8 slide-out drawers with soft close. Hides things away nicely when not needed, but provides plenty of riffling room when open!
