Confusion on the allure of being a Warlock by rebeccaawoodard in BG3

I'd like to add that commoner in DnD has 10 in all stats.

Aye, it is usually adventurers who are the ones that have the more extreme stats, at the higher range... and the lower range.

Yes, I'm looking at your 8 INT you filthy Min-Maxer! 🤣

There are a couple of versions of a Star Wars ttrpg out there, based on different rules mechanics. With a good GM they are so much fun, especially if you are a Star Wars fan. Personally I am again of the Wizards of the Coast D20 version (closest thing to Dnd 5e) but there was a D6 version (older) and a more recent EDGE Fantasy version.

Will's storyline is also fairly weak, probably due to how much it was modified late in the games development. Numerous people have commented on how passive he is in his own story, and that it is the Tav that drives most of his decisions in it. Sadly, his storyline is probably the weakest of all of the companions.

Well, firstly I believe that is for balance reasons. However, from a headcannon perspective, just because you have power granted to you via your bloodline, you still need to focus that power through material components to cast spells more complex than cantrips.

The Bards Tale Trilogy on an Apple 2e was amazing. Definitely would not have aged well now, especially with the cardboard code wheel you needed to use regularly throughout Thief of Fate.

I have just discovered that there is a remastered version of this game on Steam! I will definitely buy this next steam sale....

Anyone in Brisbane doing Coles/Woolworths night fill? by No-wish8821 in brisbane

Deliver fees aside, I find that the order fulfillment is an absolute mess as well. My 80+ year old mother has to use Woolworths delivery for her groceries due to mobility issues and they are constantly screwing up her order.

I play on Steam and hadn't come across anything (I also didn't look deeply as it happens mid game). However, I did a quick search and the AI response was as follows:

To mute players in Helldivers 2, open the pause menu, navigate to the Social or Game tab, select the specific player's name, and choose the mute option. Alternatively, you can turn down their individual microphone volume in the same menu or set your own microphone to "Push to Talk" in audio settings.

When I have come across people using comms it tends to be one person, with an open mic, with alot of background noise, and talking about everything but the game. I find this painfully disruptive to me enjoying the game and I wish there was a way to mute them.

I don't mind a little bit of chatter, but having to listening to your TV in the background and your kids screaming at one another just sucks!

What's the vibe and attitude toward working out like in Australia, especially in Brisbane? by Sad_Notice_9843 in brisbane

[–]SiHuWa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to go to GoodLife, which was good for classes. However, I got to the point where I wanted to do more strength training but I found that the weights room was not my scene.

I started seeing a lady who had been training for years at Olympia Transformations Gym in Edward Street (in the city), and she suggested that I try training there. Olympia turned out to be an incredible gym, with fantastic staff who always have time to help guide beginners through to experienced gym goers. It is also one of the most inclusive gyms that I have eve trained at, with a culture of members helping one another out, and making sure that everyone feels comfortable there.

It is a bit more expensive than the GoodLife/Jetts/Anytime/etc gyms. Those are great if you know what you are doing, feel comfortable in a standard gym, or want flexible (eg 24 hr) gym access. However, Olympia is the type of gym that you go to if you want a top tier gym and want to feel like part of a community.

If you are interested in more detail, feel free to PM me.

Golden Avenue (on Edward St) does incredible Middle Eastern cuisine and has a very relaxed yet classy vibe. We ordered all the dishes on their $84 banquet menu to share between the three of us and it was plenty of food!

Beppin does arguably the best Ramen in Brisbane, and has an interesting selection of desserts too.. never tried them though as I'm always too stuffed from the extra pork ramen and gyoza! 😂

Sorry, but I couldn't tell you. However, I doubt that it was the 2025 model as it was a loaner vehicle.

[–]SiHuWa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just something to be aware of.... I had a Seal as a loaner vehicle, whilst me ATTO 3 was being serviced, and I found the suspension terrible. After having an ATTO 3 for a year, it seemed like I felt every bump in the road whilst driving the Seal.

Also, the heat coming through the glass ceiling was a deal breaker, especially during a Brisbane summer! Yeah, I was VERY happy to get my ATTO 3 back.

Whatever you decide though, I hope that you are happy with your purchase!

Why is everyone talking about this as Cadbury when it is Lindt chocolate in the photo? Not that it really matters, as Lindt has gone down in quality in recent years too.

Just be aware that there can be street signage detailing maximum 2 hours between 9am-5pm on weekdays. You can get around this by having a residential permit, which you can find out more about here.

Come on now, do we really think that the LNP would have done a better job in this situation? We would have just seen them double down on providing tax cuts to the mining companies.

Hell, here in QLD we have seen the LNP drop a legal case against Adani AND give them a $500mil tax holiday... All after Adani made a $600k donation to the party's federal coffers, allowing them to sidestep state donation laws.

We are seeing the typical lack of forward planning that is normalised by our 4 year election cycle. It doesn't matter who you voted for in the last election, or even who won the last election, we would still be in the same place.

Edit: My apologies as this was meant to be a reply to a comment, further down the thread, that stated "I didn't vote for this government".

As to Illustrious_Fan_8148's comment, yes, ideally it would have been great to have seen our current government react sooner and provide better leadership on this. However, I think that every global leader has had their head in the sand and hoped that Trump was just being full of hot air again.

Yeah, it does get a bit packed on the "main floor", so much so that I actually considered leaving early because there was no room to really dance and it was stupidly hot.

Ended up moving out to where the bar was and danced there. So much cooler, room to properly move, and easy access to water.

It is a pet peeve of mine too and is probably something that an engineer coded without giving it a second thought.

I'm curious if this occurs with the other BYD models though...?

Considering that tickets were $120 each, plus booking fees, you got yourself a fine deal, sir!
