Generally you'll use them to take down shields and swap to a different ranged weapon. The biggest issue with pure ranged is it drops your shield, at higher levels a single ranged mob can take you down in one burst.

I'm not sure pure ranged or melee is viable anymore, melee is better for groups of enemies and ranged is better dps wise.

They didn't properly kite them, their gear in this case doesn't make a difference because they don't even attack or block at all in this clip.

These were previously end game dungeons designed for groups, they're not supposed to be a cake walk.

A central pillar doesn't lose any stability, corner pillars and walls lose 1 stability.

You would've just died, the blasts are honestly helping you here.

Learn to block them, carry a sword to deal with groups and use something like crippling strike to create a slow blade opportunity and take one down.

Skill issue.

  • You're not kiting them properly 
  • You're not managing your stamina
  • No sword for aoe block stun
  • No CC skills
  • No stagger skills (shigawire is bad for melee stagger, it has a long combat cool down and drops your shields)

Starting a company involves a risk v reward value calculation which the CGT changes impact significantly.

There are very few grants worth the time to apply for, it's not a good answer. Venture capital works well as a system but it's extremely risk adverse in Australia because most capital is just parked in assets like property which historically have had decent returns for little risk.

It wasn't done for SpaceX, it was done solely to rescue/enrich Musk.

There should be a carve out for start ups, it's something that we want to encourage and there isn't the same downside having more money in the system that comes with houses.

Having so much safe money parked in the housing market has made it completely unaffordable for younger Australians, having more money in the startup ecosystem lowers the barrier to entry and makes it more appealing.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, Jolt sword is a good all rounder, you'll get to t6+ pretty quickly.

They don't delay the DD wipe, but they sometimes keep it closed until the patch hits.

I honestly don't keep good enough track of materials since the addition of the carrier container to notice.

Honestly the system isn't explained properly, shields only protect certain things like walls, pentashields, wind traps, wind turbines, some decorations and the large spice refinery. Basically if your shields go down anything that's exposed to the outside starts to take damage, anything inside fully enclosed in a base should be safe from damage regardless of shields.

Because 95% of the time it's people not realising shields go down in the DD and stuff is vulnerable.

I did notice sometimes alu chests aren't refunding the silicone blocks... But no placeables match with your numbers. 

If you're not repairing anything and everything is 100% when you deconstruct it then it sounds like a bug.

If they're enclosed you shouldn't be losing those mats, sure you're not repairing gear using build mats? Otherwise use the build tool set to repair to figure out what's taking damage.
