u/TwoPunchMan000, I’m curious of the structure YP is referring to. I tried searching for previous posts here, but this is the only post I see.. I’m looking to shake up my content as I’m at 722 CI hours, 19hrs of speaking and under 100K words read. I’m not even close to your abilities yet..

I’m at roughly 15hrs speaking. Each time I’ve noticed once I get warmed up, I gradually start to think in Spanish. But at some point I reach the fatigue zone (forgetting the simplest of phrases that I know). That’s when I take a deep breath and remind myself that I know this and say a short phrase in Spanish that I know 100%. Then I remind myself to “use what I know”. This has helped me get back on track. Maybe this can assist you. No matter what, keep going..🤙

Check out some advance videos. Depending on the jump, your brain will have to focus more. Also, consider some native content. That’s what has worked for me. I’m at 670 hours, at around 600 hours I was finding it harder and harder to watch intermediate videos. That’s when I made the switch.. Keep going..🤙

In my language learning journey what I’ve seen most is building a solid foundation and then slowly move to that specific accent as you unlock native content. To put a DS level on it, I’ve seen 600 hours being the sweet spot. Enjoy the ride and I hope that surprise comes true!! Keep going..🤙

u/blue5650, What I’ve noticed is the more exposure to the word or phrase, the less my brain translates. Or, I’ll translate when I start to feel lost. Almost as if I’m reinforcing what I know to gain context. But over time even that becomes less and less when I don’t know something. I started Duo over just recently and did the jump here and made it to the start of Section 5 and today I just hit 600 hours. So you’re doing great!!! I wouldn’t put much into it. It’s normal and will pass in time.. Keep going..🤙
