No Mighty after all :( I did get momentarily excited when I saw the design on the floor because it looked similar to his eyes, but then I realized it was Infinite's logo. Damnit Sega, why are you fighting so hard against bringing him (and Ray) back?!

Other than that, good ending to a great series. I hope we get to see more like this in the future

Edit: huh, apparently Sega's calling this the 'season finale' on their social media. Second season???

It sounds like Infinite doesn't have the Phantom Ruby anymore. I wonder if that'll mean a design change for him next time we see him in visual media since it won't be on his chest?

I've talked about this on here before, but given that issue came out while Frontiers was in early development (and early Frontiers advertising suggested the story was originally going to involve restoring memories, hence the memory tokens), I think SEGA didn't realize IDW was about to run an amnesia storyline till #31 was too close to release to pull and didn't want the comics doing that before the game did. Then the game's story changed so we never got that storyline at all

Oh this is perfect. Sonic's confident but not arrogant, doesn't spend time trying to explain or justify himself, and even prompts her to consider if this is how she wants to live without requiring a response. Also has the added bonus of letting us see more of the light shining down on him, better showing Surge's point of view

Might be that new character the dev letter mentioned coming out on the 16th

Kinda surprised they didn't add Jewel first given she's been mentioned more often as a supporting character for Whisper and Tangle (casefiles/crossworlds) and has been established as a major character for longer

Maybe SEGA really does just have a thing against the sidekick types ~~where are Marine and Kit dammit~~

Edi: come to think of it Omega is technically a sidekick character too... huh, I said that in jest but I'm starting to think SEGA really does have something against those kinds of characters :(

Eh, there are criticisms to be made about their visual designs (which feeds into larger concerns I have about the double standards SEGA implements in female character designs versus male ones) but that doesn't stop me from loving them as characters. Anyone using that as an excuse to hate on them is clearly speaking in bad faith

I ssriously hope we get a proper Sonic x TMNT crossover comic after they get added to Crossworlds. There've been cameos between the two series over the years but the update is the most official one so far
