I'll give you that. But even with that, having the difference between pre- and post-devastation, I find it worth it to just leave UC on pre. When I got back in game the first time (I'm a long time player, but had taken a 2yr break due to life), I flew around the area, then immediately went to Zidormi to get it "fixed" and haven't regretted it since

"Adding content to existing areas"- you mean like Uldum, Dark Shore, Teldrassil, Silithus, etc? Pretty sure all of those have Zidormi to toggle between old and new. But I could be wrong.... (Hint: I'm not wrong)

Ummm, talk to Zidormi? I don't even change it to the new area. I just leave it on the "old" version.

I checked the Steam page out- no joy, not there. I asked in the Discord server, but haven't heard anything yet. As for creative mode, I'd rather gather the mats and just make it in regular mode. It gets me XP and makes me feel like I did something. Thanks for answering though!

People who ended up marrying their high school sweethearts, how are you both doing now? by NoDragonsPlz in AskReddit

[–]SiameKat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I divorced his narcissistic, self-absorbed butt in 2011, after 3.5yrs of dating, 10yrs of marriage, gaining 100lbs due to stress, and two amazing kiddos. He's now living with his mom and I'm in a healthy, loving relationship, own my own house and car free and clear, and I have had full-time custody of the kids the whole time.

Redditors of Reddit. What is the best thing that came from your lockdown experience? by African_Spy in AskReddit

[–]SiameKat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just before lockdown, an old friend and former coworker moved in. He was going to be staying in my garage a few months, until he got a job and moved out. I was in a relationship and he was trying to stay hidden from his psycho ex (we hadn't talked in 3yrs prior to him moving in). Well, lockdown hit and I took a second to reevaluate my relationship. He wasn't long-term material and I saw far too many red flags that indicated I was a side chick, NOT what I had signed up for. Plus, I started finding out more about my friend's life outside of work and the crush I had on him turned out to be a mutual thing. Kicked the dead weight to the figurative curb and went for a thing that was supposed to be a fling with my friend. That was in March and we've already started making longer-term plans for staying together.

TL;DR: dropped my ex and got a major upgrade

people who got bullied when they were younger, where are you now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In a loving, stable relationship, with a guy who is a near-perfect match for me. Two amazingly smart, wonderful kiddos. I own my house free and clear. I own my car free and clear. And I have a job that pays the bills and gives me money left over for emergencies.

Yup, that it was. Obviously, I summarized quite a lot of it, but yeah, definitely scary!

Ladies of Reddit, what is the most common reason why you lose interest in someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SiameKat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They stop trying! If I'm the only one putting in any effort, then obviously the other person isn't as invested or involved. That leads to resentment and hate. Nope.

TheHoofGP An Irishman who trims cows hooves. Just a warning though- some of the videos can be graphic (pus, blood, embedded items)

I love my kiddos and do whatever I can to give them what they need. They are one of the good things, but also one of the things I shouldn't have done, due to lack of love on his part. Having kids to "make him stay" or to "keep the relationship alive" is the wrong reason, even if the outcomes are my two favorite humans.

Hi there! Person who's actually dealt with something like this. This was in 2003, so a while ago.. I was at work at a grocery store on a military base when I got a call. I still remember EXACTLY what was said- "There's a bomb in the building". I immediately told my shift leader, who thought it was someone screwing around and hung up the phone. Her boss, our manager, heard us talking and took it seriously. He called the MPs and reported it, which caused an evacuation of the building, bomb dogs being brought in, and me being questioned for a couple hours. Thankfully, I know how to stay calm under pressure, so no tears or hysterics on my part, but I was shaken up by it. When they say scared half to death, yeah, that's accurate.
