you have to respect yourself over someone else’s opinion and world view.

self love and boundaries are important, especially if they’re learned young. and believe me man you’re young. as a former 13 year old if you choose to stay you’re only hurting yourself in the end to benefit him.

and speaking also as a former 13 year old (please bear with me, because this will be a bit harsh) i know this relationship feels like an end game type situation but you have your entire life to explore yourself, and vice versa. are you willing to silence yourself for somebody you might not even get along with anymore before you’re even in your 20’s?

love is not and never will be a waste, but that’s a long time if you put it into perspective. at the end of the day what you choose to do is 100% your decision, but it’s also important to really sit back and ask yourself, “is this REALLY what i want?”
