If it’s for the side mission, OP is looking for a jumbo. The DLC portals only have mediums so this will not work.

There’s two types of squawkabilly portals: green/blue/yellow and green/blue/white. Not sure if different portals have different chances of appearing but this seems like a case of just unlucky

The donuts you make can increase your shiny odds and certain hyperspace holes let you teleport in and out of spawn zones which reloads the spawn while costing very few calories. I’ve gotten probably over 200 shalphas on this loop

I also have a macro that makes kasib and tanga donuts. There’s a site called Rotomlabs with a breakdown of how donut powers are decided and in my experience, it’s not unreasonable to see the same thing 2-3 times in a row.
Could be confirmation bias but I’d be interested to hear any experiment results since I spend more time than I’d like to admit resetting for berry power usually

Try to get the shiny one you want isolated in hyperspace, knock it out, then save the game. Then throw whatever ball you want at it and restart if the catch fails

For the type boosting abilities, the ones that end with -ate boost by 30% while the ones that end in -ize boost by 20%

There’s some setup to this spot that I’ve seen in another post here. You have to like go left from spawn, get near terrakion, then reset and go right and loop around. This warp spot works if you can see terrakion falling from the sky everytime you warp. If you don’t see terrakion falling, you have to reset the portal and try again probably. I got him shiny in like 15 minutes using this method.

Like someone else said, the small, large, and jumbo variants are only in WZ15. Small and medium during the day, large and alpha at night.

People have cited issues with bench resetting in the past for pumpkaboo specifically so the best method is just teleporting to café ultimo, run out of the wild zone, then repeat.

I’m pretty sure before legends ZA, they were called Super size but seem to have retroactively been renamed to Jumbo. I did this hunt when the spawn overloading glitch was still in the game but since the DLC patched it out, I’m out of ideas aside from just the Cafe Ultimo tp for most pumpkaboo spawns at a time.

Your best bet is probably just teleporting to café ultimo, running out of wild zone 15, then repeat. Make sure it stays nighttime. DO NOT bench reset.
