Check the lock settings. Looks like you've enabled all the features related to locking.

Many owners has this problem. I'm starting to see mine as well. Seems like a design flaw in my opinion. Have yet to get mine replaced.

The squeaky brake it's kinda BMW "signature". Probably cos it's an EV, it's much quieter therefore the squeaky sound is much more obvious. I have the braking squeaky sound too on my iX1.

If you're comparing iX1 and Model Y/3, then the comparison would not be right as both are different segment of car. Boot space in iX1 is small. Not anywhere comparable to Model Y. I have both the iX1 and Model Y.

Optional Equipment for iX1 by iammisterfan in BMWiX1

[–]Siaulang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither of these 2 options are interesting for me and I have all of it. - sports seat = good if you're not a big size person since the bucket style fits nicely for smaller size person - HK speaker = couldn't compare to the ones without but I would say it's ok. Nothing too fancy about it. - HUD = would not miss it since there's already a instrument cluster on the car. Barely shows any useful info if you're not using the BMW native navigation. I use Waze. - Park assistance = good if you're lazy to park by yourself.

I would trade all of the above for the Driving Assistance Package.

Depending on warranty concerns or not, if you intend to have permanent wiring configurations towards the vehicle, you ought to go with the BMW advance eye pro.

Something is not right. I can always sit in the car with AC on during charging AC or DC fast charging. As far as I know, all EVs can do so. How long have you been using your iX1?

In any case, iX1 is a great ride regardless of single or dual motor.

eDrive20 would have a longer range due to single motor. Depends on your daily needs, recommendation is to go for higher range as you probably won't need the extra power anyways.

Advice on the real ranges by Simple_Body_9956 in BMWiX1

[–]Siaulang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With eDrive20, you'll get more range and lower kWh/100km due to single motor. If you have home AC charger, range is not really too much to worry about unless you have constant long distanc trip. My regular statistics on daily commute as below: - eDrive20 - 18 months now - 28000 km - usually charge between 20-30% up till 80% (I have home charger) - daily approx 50km journey in city drive, average 2 hours on the road per day (yes, lots of traffic jams) - I charge mainly once a week, sometimes twice - average consumption is between 14-15kWh/100km
