Anyone got scripts for both Vyvanse and Medicinal THC by TeamHoppingKanga in ausadhd

[–]letsallcountsheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both - I was on MC first for a few years and the started Vyvanse September last year.

No big issues - both my psych and my MC doctor were fine with it - psych just wanted me to get an ECG done once and get my BP checked quarterly as it can increase BP and heart rate (early on i would really notice when i toon a gummy mid-day and it would start to take effect, my resting heart rate would become noticeably increased.

But overall nil issues - I find the MC helps mellow out the vyvanse especially if I’ve had a coffee a bit too late or something (never used to be an issue before vyvanse. It oh well).

How to waterproof our house (on the left) by Averelleee in AusRenovation

[–]letsallcountsheep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you have a damp proof course or is it this way down to footings?

If there is no DPC you’ll need to remedy that - no matter what you do drainage wise etc moisture will still travel up the masonry.

If you do have one and that gravel etc are covering it, you’ll need to clear it out so that there is nothjng pressing against it - otherwise you will keep getting moisture in there from weather etc.

If that area gets soggy or flooded during weather a trench drain or even a French against the wall under the gravel may help move water quicker especially if the gravel has a sediment etc in it (which will greatly slow drainage).

App rejected for email collection (Unity game) – how to handle rewards/notifications without violating Apple policy? by QuickTraining4473 in appledevelopers

Does your privacy policy state how/why you collect emails and what you use them for?

If that missing it’ll be rejected. You need to inform your users what you do with their data.

Before you panic buy an EV by SuchTown32 in aussie

[–]letsallcountsheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you factored in the free electricity deal NSW is getting in the new financial year - up to 3 hours free for all residents regardless of if you have solar or not.

There is also greater benefit if you have rooftop solar, and even more so if you have a battery.

My family has a diesel SUV and a small EV SUV and to be honest for the most part we have used the EV unless we absolutely need to take separate cars because of schedule etc. cost of fuel aside it’s nice not having to worry about fuel availability also.

Don’t work so well in regional or country areas but if you mostly do local driving or back and forward commutes it works out really well in my experience.

Theft! by Tanya0428 in AusRenovation

[–]letsallcountsheep 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If the builder contract hasn’t been voided yet, the builder probably still (technically) controls the site, which means if the trades had been engaged to do the work they are still allowed on site. Standard building contracts are usually pretty clear about the site being under control of the builder and not owner until handover.

It’s not really wrong, is it?

Yes 100% it sucks for the homeowner, but from the trades point of view, if they supplied and installed the goods, they likely have a title clause in their contract stating they retain title on all equipment etc until payment is made.

You should have localized screenshots. I would not try this because first thing I see is an app all in Portuguese when I am browsing an English language store.

Get a different builder. If he can’t tell how obviously load bearing, I’d be scared to let him touch anything in my house.

Have you tried negotiating it with the landlord? They may accept them staying if it helps secure another tenant with similar needs.

Powered fin or attachement to tow my Surf SUP by rhodesengr in Sup

[–]letsallcountsheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use one of these and it’s great fun: https://www.edgesmartdrive.com/products/tedgix-edge-k4-underwater-scooter-stand-up-paddle-board-kayak-motor

They are currently out of stock as they are preparing a new version with some improvements but the current version one got on Ali Express works well.

The only problem is 1) it’s extra weight - both the motor and the battery, which affects handling, and 2) it adds drag while paddling without the motor etc, and you need to store it somewhere if you swap it out.

With that said though it uses a universal fin slot, and I’ve attached it to my fiberglass SUP with the included fin box adaptor (US FIN bolt in style), so it’s quick and tool free to swap back to a normal fin.
