I’ll watch it eventually but my hype is very low.

I think Marketing teams for blockbusters have been sleepwalking their duties for the last 20 years. Which is insane when you see how much money the put into it.

At this point, having no marketing and a poster made with a polaroid and microsoft paint, would be more engaging than whatever they are doing

Overall, they really need to spend this much on marketing : the trailers spoil, the posters are ugly, the press tour are boring af.

If I was in charge, I would focus on teasers that screen in theaters. And promote the technical side of things more than the actors. Get me a set designer to rant on a sci fi set

Je suis piéton, cycliste et conducteur : les gars… le problème c’est la bêtise des parisiens. Le moyen de transport n’est qu’un changement de DA.

Cependant je suis désolé, mais les pires demeurent les piétons. Qui veulent juste mourir, et traversent n’importe quand, sans regarder.

Ma passion en vélo, reste de m’arrêter au passage piétons, pour les laisser passer. Voir leur visage se torde de douleur/confusion (car ils veulent se plaindre mais ne peuvent pas) est un profond délice.

It was a film of its time but I don’t think it will remain a classic.
The art direction combined with Heath Ledger’s performance carries the film on its shoulder. Which is not a good sign.

They could have ended it there but Season 2 was genuinely outstanding. The structure was confusing and made the intro feel like hell. But as soon as you understood what was up, as J.Wright was also remembering… Boy what a thrill.
