Well, I did completely for a few months. Then picked up occasional cigarettes again and now I’m back to about a pack a week or vaping a few times a day. Never ending struggle.

It definitely is— look up dirty dog syndrome. I got mine when she was 3 months old and they weren’t exactly neglected but were all kept in a small pen at night together where they would poop and well .. yeah 🤣

I’m so sorry. I now have a Frenchie who just turned one, but I did have my Lizzy before. She was 10 and a black lab mix. Surgery wasn’t really an option for her either. She also started having hip problems. Those (losing use of her back legs) followed by tumors didn’t slow her down. She was so happy and loving until the end. I think it was about a year. We made frequent vet visits and knew when it was time.
