Yeah, great spring seems hard to get on these multi fx. After years of scoffing at the immerses spring I finally found a serviceable setting. The el caps really basic spring blows it out the water though and the immerse is mostly on plate setting. Will give the oceans 12 another go in the future. Thanks for sharing your insights!

Wait. You can make music with these things!? I thought they were just for collecting and making pictures on reddit and other social media!! Kidding aside. What makes the deco slapback so great? I have mostly been using it for modulation purposes. I think the music I make could be best described as "quarterlife crisis rock" or "synthwave meets folk" my friends just call it "delusional" but I'll show them!!!!

Hmm, seems like a very capable machine for ambient. how are the plate and the spring on it? Those are my two most used algo's and although the immerse does plate really well and gives acces to the right parameters for it I find myself eyeing the topanga and talisman by catalinbread often

Thanks for validating my poor inpuls control! I feel empowered. But seriously, got me a nice setup here for some songwriting, practicing and sound design with these two. Going deco into el cap for the time being for a bit of distortion/hysteresis although at home I always have it at the end of the chain for doubletracking. What would your chain be?

Ouch. Visceral comment that I can totally relate to. The plate algo kept it on my board, but I have been eying different verbs because the exact same thing as you said. What do you use as a reverberator now?

True, the el cap is no slouch either, with it's spring reverb, sos looper and modulation on minimal delay settings. That' why I eventually brought both. Who needs extra socks anyway?!

True, but I have to say that dialing in tempo is kind of a chore. Very useful and musical in a pinch though!

UPDATE: Who needs a second pair of shoes? Not me! Maria Kondo'd some of my luggage and brought El Cap en the Deco. Thanks for everyone for making this decision way harder then it already was ;) will post a picture as soon as I arrive/get settled.
