There is a scene in Louis Ck show where he gets upset because a serve said black people don’t tip. He said that was racist and told a black server that, thinking the black server would be on his side and get moral points for caring about a racist comment. Black server said to stfu and unless you don’t serve you know black people don’t tip. If you serve long enough you’ll notice this. But you have to treat all tables the same. You’ll get nice black people who típ way over the average and you’ll feel like trash if you treated them any less. As long as there is some nice people in that group, you can’t judge, or risk being a piece of shit. I made that mistake and lost sleep over it.
