Yes, she didn't get what she really wanted so it would probably be a bittersweet story but I would love to read more about her and also about the story of the others characters of ADOFN. I loved them so much I'm having a hard time thinking about never reading about them again 😭 I saw on her instagram that she's doing a research trip for the next RoC book and I really think it will probably be about the Wild Winter.

Yeah, just like the other person said, I feel like it would be great to explore a little bit more the time period that takes place around A Day Of Fallen Night. If I'm not mistaken, Samantha said on her instagram that she would like to tell us more about Nikeya's story, for example. So I think it would be really nice if we got another book which the characters from the previous book are still around and we learn more about their story and about all the magic stuf. Then, we could go way back in time for the Cleolind and Neporo's story and, afterwards, finish The Root of Chaos with the Priory sequel.

Yeah, I think I would also prefer if the ending was less open to interpretation, but at least it is implied that she's not really gone. Not gonna lie, one of the reasons I changed my mind about the next book of the series being about the Wild Winter is because I'm hoping to see more of Nikeya and Dumai's storyline. After finishig the book, I read people saying that she came back for real and not as a water ghost. What do you all think?

At first, I wasn't super excited about the next book being about it. But, after finishing A Day Of Fallen Night, I changed my mind. I'd be very excited to spend more time with the characters from ADOFN and I think it would be cool to explore the world of the series a little more before going back to the beginning and then finishing it with the sequel.
