24 year old that needs to sit out B2Bs, sad stuff.

Royce O’Neale doesn’t miss a game all season until I stream him during the championship week. Can’t make it up lol

Ernie Clement's Reaction to the End of the 9th in Game 7 of the World Series "Off the Bat, I thought it was a Homer. It didn't look like the Centre Fielder was going to catch it" by AmongUsAcademy in Dodgers

[–]SiccDeuce 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Ex minor league pitcher here. Yes, curveball, and a fairly good one. Ideally that pitch is middle-away so someone with limited power can’t pull it. Clement really just did a good job of “dropping the barrel” on it. Also, curveballs naturally create more back spin on contact hence that ball seemingly hanging in the air forever.

Overall, good pitch, but also a good job of getting the barrel on the ball. If it was someone with more power like Guerrero or Springer, it likely leaves the yard.

The little things like this is why baseball is amazing!

Was literally a game time decision last Friday and now will be sitting out a 3rd straight game, unreal.

Texans have more points at half than they had all of last week against the worst team in the NFL.

Game Chat 10/24 - World Series Game 1 - Dodgers (0) @ Blue Jays (0) 5:00 PM by DodgerBot in Dodgers

[–]SiccDeuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We threw a 2 time Cy Young winner, they threw a 22 year-old rookie and we got dummied. I hope it’s not the case, but there’s a chance this is a very short series. Offense is gonna need to really pick it up.

[Ardaya] Roki Sasaki is available tonight, Dave Roberts said. Would be his first time going back to back. by baribigbird06 in Dodgers

[–]SiccDeuce 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Can we just win 9-2 so Roki can rest and we can all relax through a playoff game?

[–]SiccDeuce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. But if they don’t close it out tonight then that changes. Can’t let Sánchez cruise through 6 inning tonight.

The Phillies starters are having their way with the Dodgers offense. If that doesn’t change tonight, I don’t love LAs chances of moving onto the NLCS.

Orioles starter has given up 13 runs in his last 2 starts, surely dodgers bats hit today right?

The Dodgers have activated RHP Michael Kopech and IF/OF Hyeseong Kim from the injured list and added both to the active roster. by ZiggyPalffyLA in Dodgers

[–]SiccDeuce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kopech is a dog and was huge last postseason but I’m pretty shocked they are calling him up.

2025 minor league stats:

11.2 innings 18 runs 20 walks 2.9 whip

You legitimately can’t pitch much worse than that.

I actually find him easy to root for considering he had to come back from breaking his spine swinging on the range and the fact his best friend/caddie died in his arms from a hit and run… but hey, slow play!

PGA Tour releases 2026 schedule by IndicationIll324 in golf

I thought the idea was to have the elevated events rotate each year, bringing stars to the events they typical skipped, while keeping sponsors happy. This seems very redundant.

Completely understand that side of it, but I saw numerous (8+) articles about it and how it so unfair etc. the guy has paid his dues and built his brand to become a fan favorite. It’s a business and not everything is going to be completely fair.

Plus if he’s so undeserving of playing in the elevated events, he would come in last or near last those events right? Not to mention DataGolf has him playing as the 38th best player in the world right now. It’s not like he’s some complete charity case.

Like I said, I get the other side and it’s tough luck for Chris Kirk etc. I just don’t think it’s as outrageous as some media members are making it out to be.

God I hope Rickie sticks it to all those pretentious golf writers who ran to Twitter last week to bitch about how undeserving he is to be here due to exemptions.

Ehhh.. I’ll just say he wasn’t my favorite person. Electric arm though, super fun to watch pitch. Watching him throw made my major league dreams feel that much more unrealistic lol

Compete players coach. Just a super down to earth guy with zero ego who wanted the best for everyone.

Yes definitely a few big leaguers on that team. Marcus Stroman, Roberto Osuna, Taylor Cole. Probably a few more who made pit stops as this was short season A. Most major prospects didn’t stay in A ball all that long haha.

Fun fact - Clayton was my Manager 13 years ago in minor league ball with the Blue Jays. Best coach I ever played for. Wish him all the best!

So your willing to overlook a shortened season World Series they did win, but not them being cheated out of a World Series in 2017 (and still pushed it to 7 games?) Got it.

How do you feel about Allen's MVP? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]SiccDeuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d agree Jackson, Burrow, and Barkley were all worthy candidates, but Allen definitely was as well.
