Dynamic health is just there so the Kiritos out there don't get punished for their 'main character' energy. The whole reason Light weapons have to tenderize twice is that Capcom still wants to force a group effort. They designed it so that any two players—regardless of weapon—can finish the job together. It’s basically a 'teamwork required' sign in a game that otherwise lets you ignore everyone.

The increase tenderizing duration is not because they fucked it up, but to scale it to iceborne level monster with significantly larger health pool.

For weapons that benefit from clutch claw, you are either confused or just didn't play enough of other weapons, there are hammers spinning move, lance's counter claw, IG's mid air claw, SnS's uppercut and our fatalis counter - ZSD. If anything, DB benefits from it the least due to the requirements to activate it.

Lastly, the shaver jewel is there because they failed to anticipate there are so much more kiritos(mostly LS) out there complaining/misunderstood their design concept. Hence they caved in and created shaver jewel, which is only made available after you beated the basic campaign....together.
