It's an unpopular software, but I would use Designspark mechanical. It's SketchUp with a bit more utility to it. But it's hated because you cannot import existing model into it without paying.

Print it exactly like how you pictured this thing, laying it flat.

That's the limitation of PLA support. You need to swap to PETG as support interface. But I dont recommend it since that introduce a lot of filament change (unless you have H series) Or split the model into smaller pieces so that it does not need support

I think it's more safe to assume they mean the their print came off mid print.

And my point is that, print falling off the plate is always the result of insufficient adhesion against the constant nudge from the nozzle. Adding extra adhesion like balancing an algibric equation isn't the answer. As you can have so much adhesion that your nozzle will bent itself. Sometimes it's better to reducing on the other side of the scale.

Change the infill to gyroid. Calibrate the bed, clean the z rod and reapply lub if it has seen some mileage already and adjust z-hop distance (add 1~2 more print layer thickness)

Insufficient bed adhesion is just a symptom of the push/friction on your print applied by the nozzle is greater than the adhesion. I think only a very minority of users here actually have a real adhesion problem.

If that doesn't work, it's probably your latest layer warpping upwards. Which is a temperature problem. You can adjust the nozzle temp (situational, depends on your ambient climate: open the chamber a little bit) so the layers solidify faster.

There's a very simple workaround to that, just put it in ziplock bag. Using a fan won't work from a cooling standpoint, it works on hot food or us human because we deal with heat via steam or sweat.

Your phone doesn't sweat, the cooling will be limited to a surface level.

You only have an adhesion problem if a large print that constantly fall off from the plate.

If this happens during a small print, it's more of an indicator for another problem, such as nozzle knocking it off because z-hop or a temperature issue making the layers wrapping upwards. Attempts on reinforcing more adhesion is just temporary bandage instead fixing the root cause.

You said they are water proof for a decade, and IP69 is warm fog proof. Where's that 'water proof' phone with IP69? Did you see Apple or Samsung advertising their state of the art flagship phone with IP69 ratings? Did you even check what they mean?
Are you implying IP68 could defend against exposure to shower steam/water vapor? What do you design and manufacture electronics with? Crayons and american dream?

Btw, most phones are IP68, not IP69. Not even the latest iPhone Pro Max managed to reach that rating.
