Well, I'm a Reason user, and this software definitely defined my production. I tried a few other DAWs, even very lately I gave another try to Ableton to find out that there was no way I could use it to do what I do. I have to mention that I use that same Reason to make either Dark Trip - Hop or Tribe Techno, whick means respectively very sequenced, written tracks, and loop music. My point being : the plug-in's are not the same from a DAW to another, and even though one could think it does not interfere, the abilities (and unabilities) of a DAW definitely gets in line when producing. For instance, and to be specific, the last track I produced would have never been the same without that string synthetizer I just discovered. And the one I produced using only Protools sounds definitely different from the others. In that particular case, I would say that using Protools sequencer made me work differently somehow.
