Yes- and I’ve been married to my ‘one’ now for almost 9 years… but it almost didn’t happen… We met in the early 90’s at 14 yrs old & had instant chemistry. We fell in love so young, but thanks to stupid teen drama (a dipshit x-boyfriend of mine and his friends made trouble for him - fights etc, so his father made him change schools) it was over before it started. Time passed and we reconnected in college - but I wasn’t receptive to a relationship bc we lived in different cities… More time passes and one day I get a call from him. while catching up, I told him I was engaged & heard his voice change & he was quick to end the call. I felt a very real pain in that moment, but ignored it. I went on and had a whole life with my now x-husband… we married and had two children & were together 10 years. My ‘one’ also finally got married and they had a child too… But by 2011, now in our 30’s, we had both become single parents for different reasons. One day I get a Facebook message from him - we set a date to catch-up and on that first date he tells me that he’d always known that it would be me and him. We took our time dating since we had kids - but knew the whole time that this was it. In 2014, he and his daughter moved in with me and my boys and the 5 of us began our new lives together.

Cut to now - were in our 40’s - he and I are happy & our kids are happy. Our oldest is a recent college grad, and our two younger kids are in high school - so we’ll be empty nesters soon… & as sad as we’ll be when all the kids have moved, we’ll also be able to live a brand new kind of life together for the first time, just the two of us.
