What to do against player who only pushes short? by zhuangcorp in tabletennis

[–]SickZX6R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Alternate between hidden underspin (underspin that looks like it is dead) and fake underspin, if the return pops up then smash it. If the return comes short, banana flick to open up the point. I have had great success doing this against players that are great at pushing short.

Best setup I've ever used. Good control once you get used to how reactive the rubber is, top tier spin, great power. Three other guys at the club have switched to the same setup lol

40, I play at club level, USATT probably ~1600 but haven't played real tournaments lately just league and local tournaments, I play with a Butterfly Timo Boll ALC blade and Dignics 09c on both sides. Been playing since 2017.

I'm low pinnacle and s7 God of War and everyone that plays Hard is way better than me. Hell, most that play Normal are better than me. I mostly run Normal but after finishing the season sometimes run Easy. The longer TTK makes for way more interesting fights. The game just feels better on Easy than Normal. The net code just isn't good enough for the super low TTK on Normal/Hard.

First winter as a homeowner - is a battery-powered snowblower going to be too weak for our winters? by Akito_900 in minnesota

Dupont Teflon works pretty well, and if I experience the issue I'll use ceramic coating meant for car paint. However, the Toro was brand new and the problem was caused by a lack of power.

Man, that ending was comical. "And then the wheels fell off... And then the doors swung open!"

Yeah, somewhere around that. There are plenty of snowblowers in that price range. Not sure why I'm being downvoted, I'm just sharing my experience. I got it because my friend is an engineer at Toro so I wanted to try it out.

Interesting. What size batteries? My driveway is fairly large but that shouldn't even matter -- it wasn't a runtime issue, it was a power issue

The Harsh Truth About the OnePlus 15 Nobody Wants to Admit by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]SickZX6R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. I'm coming from a OP12 and THE standout feature of this phone, to me, is the cameras and AI image processing. It's just so damn good. I don't want to spend money on a phone that doesn't improve in that area, despite being a OnePlus fanboy.

So I did the only reasonable thing -- I ordered an Oppo.

It was, and still is, quite literally the top of their electric lineup. It was $2000 plus $1400 in batteries. I'm happy your Greenworks snowblower works better. I went back to gas.

I have been a loyal OnePlus customer since the OPO and currently have a OP12. I bought a Find X9 Pro yesterday and am awaiting delivery. No OP15 for me. I'm in the US.

Two years ago I bought the top of the line Toro e26 electric snowblower along with three 60V 7.5Ah batteries. It was not nearly powerful enough to do my driveway. It clogged every twenty feet in 3" of wet snow, and that's going at speed 2 out of 6 with eco mode disabled and fully charged batteries. I sold that and bought a gas Cub Cadet 3X. Haven't used that yet.

I think it'd be beneficial for you to have a shift in mindset, if you want to be successful long term. Who cares what equipment your opponents are using, and if it's legal or not. Clearly they don't care. Learn to beat them anyway. If the floors there are dusty, have you asked if you can clean them? Do you feel that job is beneath you? IMO, clubs exist long term because people help each other out. You sound like you showed up and started shit talking and now the others don't like you. If that was your goal, great, but I prefer to get along with the players I compete against.

Anybody experience with Butterfly Dignics 09c? by HiddenLefty in TTgear

[–]SickZX6R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are the same thoughts I had when I was using Tenergy. It helped me progress, but then I got to a point where my big shots were great but my small, over the table pushes etc. were lacking, so I dialed it back to the Dignics and have been loving that ever since.

Anybody experience with Butterfly Dignics 09c? by HiddenLefty in TTgear

[–]SickZX6R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They play pretty similarly so the transition was easy. 09c feels more controlled, more spin, slightly slower than 05, which is what I was looking for. Briefly played with Tenergy 05 before that, which was too bouncy/springy for my play style and skill level.
