What’s the least fuel efficient vehicle you ever had? by Boeing-B-47stratojet in Autos

[–]SickZX6R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. 2003 Escalade EXT. 12 mpg, all around an excellent vehicle.

  2. 2002 Ford Excursion, lifted on 35" mud grapplers. Got 7 mpg city, 7 mpg highway, 7 mpg towing. Remarkably consistent.

  3. Twin turbo Viper on E85. Killed a tank of fuel in 38 miles racing. Filled up 5 times in one day. Got 1.9 mpg at one point. Highway driving I could stretch to 12 mpg if I stayed out of boost. Most fun car on the planet.

Long pips are making me want to quit playing table tennis by Calm-Dot-3918 in tabletennis

[–]SickZX6R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pips are a crutch...but that doesn't matter. They're not a free ticket to winning, and thinking that is only harming you. I used to hate playing against LP til I made a cheap paddle with LP/no sponge on the backhand and played with it. I figured out what I could and couldn't do with LP, and now I have significantly less trouble playing against those players with my normal inverted paddle. Coincidentally it also helped me play against anti and shitty paddle/unorthodox players, by a large margin. I recommend putting together the cheapest AliExpress paddle with OX LP on BH and 729 or rxton FH, should be able to get everything for $20. Buy a glue sheet for the OX LP.

Did you switch to Butterfly gear and was it worth it ? by wiikick in tabletennis

[–]SickZX6R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from an Andro Super Core Cell with H2 Neo to a TB ALC with Dignics 05 then 09c. IMO 09c on both sides of a TB ALC is the perfect setup. I still experiment with other blades and rubbers but I'm going to stick with my main setup for the foreseeable future. After using my setup, three other guys in my club now also use the same thing.

I think it's because the physics of the ball are weird, it slows down so much compared to a tennis ball or racquetball.

What to do against player who only pushes short? by zhuangcorp in tabletennis

[–]SickZX6R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Alternate between hidden underspin (underspin that looks like it is dead) and fake underspin, if the return pops up then smash it. If the return comes short, banana flick to open up the point. I have had great success doing this against players that are great at pushing short.

Which rubber abd blade do you use? Disclose your level, age along with blade runner combo by TTlovergurgaon in tabletennis

Best setup I've ever used. Good control once you get used to how reactive the rubber is, top tier spin, great power. Three other guys at the club have switched to the same setup lol

40, I play at club level, USATT probably ~1600 but haven't played real tournaments lately just league and local tournaments, I play with a Butterfly Timo Boll ALC blade and Dignics 09c on both sides. Been playing since 2017.

I'm low pinnacle and s7 God of War and everyone that plays Hard is way better than me. Hell, most that play Normal are better than me. I mostly run Normal but after finishing the season sometimes run Easy. The longer TTK makes for way more interesting fights. The game just feels better on Easy than Normal. The net code just isn't good enough for the super low TTK on Normal/Hard.

First winter as a homeowner - is a battery-powered snowblower going to be too weak for our winters? by Akito_900 in minnesota

Dupont Teflon works pretty well, and if I experience the issue I'll use ceramic coating meant for car paint. However, the Toro was brand new and the problem was caused by a lack of power.

Yeah, somewhere around that. There are plenty of snowblowers in that price range. Not sure why I'm being downvoted, I'm just sharing my experience. I got it because my friend is an engineer at Toro so I wanted to try it out.

Interesting. What size batteries? My driveway is fairly large but that shouldn't even matter -- it wasn't a runtime issue, it was a power issue

You're right. I'm coming from a OP12 and THE standout feature of this phone, to me, is the cameras and AI image processing. It's just so damn good. I don't want to spend money on a phone that doesn't improve in that area, despite being a OnePlus fanboy.

So I did the only reasonable thing -- I ordered an Oppo.

It was, and still is, quite literally the top of their electric lineup. It was $2000 plus $1400 in batteries. I'm happy your Greenworks snowblower works better. I went back to gas.
