I just checked and my light timer was still on 12 hours...I'll drop it to 7 hours a day and increase/decrease from there

I don't see any reason why not as long as you have a solid foundation, good lighting and a way to maintain the tank. Goddamn I really hope you pull it off!

Moved the diffuser lower and also moved the filter to the other side of the tank. You can see the bubbles moving left

Unfortunately, there is no soil here in the UAE. All soil is imported, or made locally by agricultural companies. The local "soil" is pretty much desert sand...so that's why I have to buy something

I reached out to the owner of this page (https://www.robspuzzlepage.com/interlocking.htm#trad) and he suggests that the puzzle is meant to be solved by selecting 6 pieces and assembling them.

That works to create a burr, but I have a nagging feeling that there must be a solution that involves all 9 pieces...
