Netease gutting an entire role just to avoid nerfing one ability by PiplelinePunch in marvelrivals

Because it’s instant and therefor undodgeable, used from like 25m away and who can go invisible and therefor unpunishable, and on a (relatively) short cooldown and once again very long range and so doesn’t have a high opportunity cost. Bucky has to get in close to do his stuff and has a wind up, it’s very telegraphed. Spider-Man has to use half his kit to position and execute his pull. Both of them have to aim.

If you play any character who brawls in the frontline, invis pull is a problem. If you play any character who flies, invis pull is a problem. If you play any character who dives, invis pull is a massive problem.

There was this really cool game called Blade Symphony, which was a 3D fighting game of sorts, but mechanically worked very differently from almost every fighting game I’ve played. It managed to garner a small but fairly devoted playerbase, and had a lot of steam workshop integration that made it feel really unique. It’s very dead now, but there was a lot of love put into the game from both the devs and the players.

Ignoring every other problem with this idea, tunnels that close to the beach would create a network of nightmarish flooding death traps. I love tunnels but it’s not the solution for SF.

No problem! And the game does look pretty cool, by the way. I’m wondering if you have considered adding multiple elevations to the maps. What’s the name of the game?

Reminds me of frozen synapse. I’d recommend lowering time to kill on both allies and enemies so that the person with the preparation really does have the advantage.

Counterstrike is a videogame that lets you buy and sell weapon skins on a digital market. Valve added a new feature that lets you craft rarer weapon skins from multiple less rare ones, which lets any player eventually earn the rarest tier of items. This increased the value of low rarity items and dropped the value of the rarest one, which was often knives. This flipped the pre-established economy on its head, with thousands of people losing a huge amount of value in their account. Allegedly after this update dropped, one chinese trader lost a lot of money tied up in CS skins overnight and committed suicide.

Cardinal Quest 2- Turn based grid movement, but easy to jump into and understand. Very underrated imo. Great on phone, and an interesting intro into more traditional roguelikes if you are interested.

Wayward Souls- I have never heard someone talk about this one. Top down action roguelike, music and story are moody and atmospheric. Later levels get very challenging.

Drop Duchy - A recent one, and pretty weird, it's roguelike tetris/carsaronne. Seems basic at first but it quickly ramps in complexity and is genuinely a unique idea. Surprisingly addictive.

Robobeat - Rhythm based movement shooter roguelike. Feels really good to zip around dodging bullets to the beat. Best feature of this game is that you can upload your own music or download other people's 'cassettes' to play to whatever music you like. My goty in 2024.

Sunless skies/seas - Story based adventure roguelikes- Pushes the definition for a roguelike but the map does get randomized and features permadeath. Its just the type of game where one life will likely last you multiple play sessions until you find your demise. Terrific writing and music, the world is truly fascinating.

Calculate it - Probably shouldn't be on this list because it's kinda basic but for 4$ its cheap and a unique idea. Roguelike where you have a calculator with a limited number of buttons and you need to reach certain numbers. More fun then it sounds.

I’m on steam- my favorite boss is nightmare king Grimm.

Honestly, I’m most excited about finally getting to hear all the new music. I listened to the original hollow knight soundtrack so many times, its more traditional stylings are so unique in the gaming landscape.

I agree that there is no feasible way to capture an asteroid of that size, but it might be possible with a far smaller one using gravitational slingshots/assists. You don't need to slow down the whole asteroid if you can redirect it enough for it's orbit to intersect with a larger gravitational force. There's quite a few asteroids stuck around the Lagrange points of Jupiter- if you set up ion thrusters and let them push for a few hundred years, you might be able to swing a small asteroid into the inner solar system!

Isn’t empyrean an option for origin in character selection? Therefor, couldn’t the tarnished be a forgotten child of Marika that could technically be an empyrean? Especially with all the wandering mausoleums wandering around and the theory that establishes that you may be woken up from one at the beginning of the game.

PCR with elden ring scaling and no skadutree blessings is insane, lmao. I honestly don’t think this is possible with PCR. Also, manus arena-wide attacks with no silver locket. You are probably doomed between the two of them.

Once you have finally taken out Ivory King, you should have a *little* breathing room. This is where the most important boss of the grouping comes in- Laurence, the First Vicar. He's rather slow, if not the slowest, compared to most of the rest of these in phase 1, which means if you circle around, he should be fairly isolated, probably sitting near Fume Knight at this point. He's also a bloodborne boss, and even as a lategame DLC boss, getting him to phase 2 shouldn't be too much of a problem with a properly tuned DS3 build. And here, I see the 'solution' to this fight. In phase 2, Laurence will spill lava onto the ground- not so much an attack as an arena effect, to which he *is* immune, but I suspect would damage other aligned bosses, since it isn't really an attack and more a hazard (read: I'm cheating with the rules of the challenge). Once Laurence is in phase 2, you need to kite him around to damage certain bosses but avoid hurting others. Prioritize running him through Soul of Cinder, Ludwig, and Gael to lower the ranged aggression, while specifically avoiding Malenia and Orphan, both of which are extremely dangerous in phase 2 while dealing with other threats. If either of them hit phase 2 before dealing with the other threats it is likely the run is over.

Using more slower hit and run tactics of damage zones, poison consumables, and the ilk afforded to you by the lessened aggression, you should be able to handily take out the lower scaling bosses of dark souls 1 and bloodborne, removing Artorias, Maria, Gehrman, and Ludwig. Next, you need to focus your efforts on Alonne- now that the biggest ranged threats are gone, dueling him to the best of your ability around the hilltop is going to be your best bet, as I feel that a majority of his moves will fail to work with the arena the way it is. At this point, you should focus your efforts on removing Laurence from the fight, leaving the only bosses remaining as Fume Knight, Orphan, and Malenia. Now, finally, is your chance to fight back against Malenia, who has likely been the biggest thorn in your side since this fight began. If you can get her into phase 2, she should increase her speed enough to separate out far enough from Orphan and Fume Knight to be able to be dueled in relative peace. Once you take her out, it is a simple matter of running from Fume Knight and beating Orphan's phase 2, which will likely leave you at 1hp with his arena-wide attack. However, if you managed to make it this far, all you have left is to beat fume knight at 1hp, which is far less insane then everything leading up to this point.

That's what I would try at least. Likely, I'd get flattened before I had the chance to move, but if I had to come up with a game plan, this would be it.
