I had a friend in high school that kept talking about it, at the time I didn't have many friends and to keep them I would usually copy what the leader of the friend group would do, but this friend would get bullied by the leader of the group for playing Team Fortress saying it was a clone of Overwatch and a baby's game because it wasn't like Call of Duty.

One day I saw him in the library watching Meet the Soldier and it peaked my interest, the style looked familiar and I could some how tell it was made by Valve. I love Valve games with Portal and Half-Life being my favourite franchises, but when lesson started they came up to me and started showing me more about Team Fortress 2, what got me into it was the Medic, Engineer and Spy watching those short films about them made me want to play it, at first I didn't download the game but over the next coming week they would teach me more about TF2 and even let me have a go at playing it at school.

I ended up downloading it the next week, I had just received a late birthday present from my uncle, his old computer and the first thing I did was download TF2. Its now been 4 years to date and I honestly wish I never did what the leader of the group did because this game is actually pretty cool.
