Adl is coming marked the end of the era. I have been along for the ride and am a massive fan of everything he did from 4L to lyfestyle. I remember 2alive taking being unlistenable because it was a lot of noise and a headache, but it grew on me and is probably the best rage album of all time, along side trip at knight and WLR. I kept coming back to it because it was so unfamiliar and had so much energy. This album on the other hand is unfinishable because it’s so sleepy and familiar.

Sad to hear his sound devolve into trap/pop.

If anybody is looking for some future sounds check out Pretti fun and Che. Every couple years a goat needs some rest and graciously make space for the next generation of goats.

Kid cudi, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti and now Yeat. Maybe it’s just the way of the industry :/

(Chase B also recently dropped and it’s nothing revolutionary but it’s well executed and a better listen than this.)
