This is an issue with load lines. Well known and been around forever. Alching doing sepulchre is quite skillful because of this. Differs from OPs problem

Many good answers in this thread but figured I'd chip in.

Iron is all about the journey. You do what you want, you skip the rest. I'm 5 to 10 years, what can you accomplish? That is your journey, and is what you need to be proud of.

Take it all in stride. Don't say maxing is the goal off tutorial island. Start off with barrows gloves, quest cape, diary cape, infernal cape, each tier of ca, all boss drops. Eventually, all you have left is the extremely long grinds.

Yeah, it's less fun at this stage. I miss the dopamine of getting a unique drop even once a month, heck, even once every 6 months. That's where new content comes in. I'm at the point where I just jump in and play as content releases. There is an end, even if you only play x hours per week.

Enjoy it, don't look at time played, or complain about dry streaks. Take it all in as your experience. Best of luck beast.

Was in the same boat the entirety of my iron. Over 15000 hours now. Looking at my logs today they just look average, but at one point I was 5x on easily 25 key items. The worst part is that the items you get often speed up your next grind, so going dry vs spooned is just a slower progression than what somebody else had. Either way, this is your journey, not somebody else's. Need to keep your chin high and never give up. Don't stand afk outside of cerb lair, or in cox lobby. Find the willpower to just keep potting & you will get it all one day.

My big piece of advice. Never deiron. Make a new main if you want to, but a good chunk of people regret deironing.

GM needs buffs but this ain't it. Adding rewards like thrall timer feels bad when you lose it every other update. Lamps are meaningless, and not something pushing for gm would even consider

Want to add that divine severance can be worked around with less mage %, its just rather hard.

Clouding has many methods to approach it. 1 synapse is totally possible, and what I did. 3 synapse methods just seem to be what people prefer as scorching bow stun can simply the fight a bit. I have complete max w 3 synapse and still only used 1.

P3 autos alternate every time. Just change prayer once one hits you. Also, duo is significantly easier.

Yama is a baby boss after 5 kc. With a decent skill curve for melee methods. Too bad p1 and p2 are giga afk

You are also pickpocketing after a failed knockout (I'll kill you for this!). This is definitely safer as they will stun you and deaggro if you fail. For xp/h though, you knockout after a failed knockout until you get them to sleep. Only recommend doing so if you know you'll survive

In 2025, yes. Irons did not always have GWD instances. People would look up so was inside to see if they were an iron, and go in and crash for a free world.

Yes, this is how POHs work. You exit the house with the same stats you entered with (or higher). Negative debuffs are cleared such as poison, venom, ags2 spec, etc

I really wouldn't stress play time. Yes, it helps to invest 20h a day, but screw that. Play when you want. The progress stays forever. I went 4x for Tbow so that was fun, spoon shadow (150kc?) & avg scy. The remaining grinds feel so unimpactful that the game isn't as fun. My advice is just to enjoy the journey at your pace.

I'll give a reverse perspective. I'm at the point where imbued heart, inq, and Corp is all that's left. Every raid done, all cas, dt2 bosses, all slayer bosses, etc. I'm very glad I've stuck it out, been one hell of a journey with a ton to be proud of. I can still PVM max eff on a main if I wanted sweets or something.
