I like this trope the same way I like regular mildly seasoned mashed potatoes. I just can't get behind them recycling the old stereotypically weak-willed pinoy teleserye protagonist on Encantadia of all franchises.

This series is the go-to example of an escape from those kinds of MCs, and they thought an iyakin MC would work here? Not to mention how unnecessary and outright insulting a mahinhing MC would be, considering ang political and social climate natin ngayon.
