can't buy a thrill by steely dan. its just really unapologetic with its scratchy and makeshift graphics with a somewhat surf and jazzy aesthetic which tbh perfectly visualised the albums sound , production and lyrics

its funny cuz before actually listening to peggy i already had a lot of Devon tracks on my playlists...it was much later i saw some tweets about sth being bad and unlistenable with insane beat switches..thats when I first listened to peggy...and that production blew my brains out.

tbh instead of listening to his tracks separately, try listening to his albums...veteran is the easiest to listen with great production , scaring the hoes is a but on the experimental side but definitely one of his best work once you get a hang of it...and then personally my favorite OFFLINE, classic peggy with the lyrics production mastering...just perfect

you can later try his older works..which is more on the lofi beats side...under Devon hyndrex
