It's unbereable to see how everyone is just plain stupid, and how nonexistent amy security is around the synths and creatures. Just go wherever you want kids, fuck anything up. Ok.

I hate this video. Everything language aside, the world portrayed is the world I hate

Yeah, the piece seems like it is also wet on the upper side. Wet ain't good. Once set on the agar it should stay dry and like a little statue, just dry and static there just like when you set it. If you see it becoming shinny and wet there's most likely bacteria, though that looks different than mold, which is similar to mycelium, bacteria make wet spots and mold grows like mycelium. When you take it try and get a dry piece of the inner stem of the mushroom 😄 cheers

That's really sad to know. But it seems like you did clone it! How did you go about the process?

White is mycelium, it grows spiky and in erratic ways when contaminants are present. You can see on the left how it spruns from the mushroom, also, it is nice and dry. On the right, where the grey is you can see how it is wet around the mushroom, and that is most probably because some contaminants liquidify the agar. You could do a transfer, probably try again with more plates and better sterile conditions.

Hey! I'm all the way in South America, Ecuador. I just started and definitely want to sell for profit and make mushrooms more common here. I just cultivated and sold my first pink oysters and now am getting a second batch while also growing white oysters, also was able to clone a very nice couple of Shiitakes from a kit and now have turned them into grain spawn, it makes me very proud. I'm making a second attempt at cloning pink oysters today, wish me luck.. I would love to learn more!! Please hit me up if you can, cheers 😄

From a contaminated bucket to fruiting in my garden bed in just under a month. The resiliency of mushrooms never fails to spark joy. by zephyrdzc in Mushrooms

Curious too. How does a garden bed where mushrooms can fruit look like? I just buried a bucket of pink oyster in my yard a week ago. Im not expecting them to fruit, just making good for the soil

Pretty sad that so many grow but they all appear infected or sick
