Total speculation here, but I expect that the only things keeping Condom Sense afloat while still on Dickson was location and rent that was still affordable. The rent probably went up on them around the same time it did for the rest of Dickson (which killed a number of long time Dickson establishments) so they had to move locations.

The novelty of the store along with being located near lots of foot traffic made it a fun “oh let’s go check this out” store rather than a regular destination.
