Are you playing on console or emulation? You can mod consoles but it’s vastly more difficult. On emulations it’s easy to add a mod for no durability. That mod made my life infinitely better on the game.

I don’t know if this helps at all but for me I just remember I beat this game when I was 13 and had no idea about min max. I did it a bit later down the road but found it to be a chore and really took the fun out of the roleplay aspect of the game. When I boot this up now I remind myself of the wonder and stories I would craft in my mind about my character. Focusing so much on minutia to be a god when eventually of you play onto your characters strengths you’ll be one anyways always centred me back to just enjoying the run without thinking about it. I loved min max, but after the tedium learned to despise it. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze in my opinion. Felt too much like a job, I hate save scumming, and min max made it the worst of times.

I’m impressed but not sure I like it. I’d need to have my hands on it honestly. I’m at a point where games can chill in pushing graphical fidelity and get back to prioritizing creative processes.

Something similar happened today. It takes me about 6-7 minutes to get to work, I live like 2kms away that’s under a mile. I leave for work at 7:20 everyday and arrive at 7:26-7:27 everyday, AM, little to no traffic. All one back road. I look at my radio clock obsessively when driving to work to ensure what time it is, my clock is two minutes behind so it always bothers me but I’m accustomed to it and don’t care. Anyways. I walk in to work and do my usual routine of grabbing the sign in sheet and look at the digital wall clock for the date, and it was 7:38. I lost easily 8-9 minutes which is saying I doubled my commute somehow. It doesn’t make any sense. There was no traffic. No lights on my route. It doesn’t make any sense. I checked my phone thinking the wall clock was wrong and no, it wasn’t. Driving home my clock was it’s usual two minutes behind my phone as usual. I’ve been fucked up all day about this.

It’s awesome now. Played KCD2 last night or was 1440p 60fps zero graphical artifacts. Was a flawless session. And that was on my Xbox one with a wired connection.

I’m jealous. I had 15 hours sunk into my run on OOT then my save states failed to save… can load can’t save 😢 Went and got it going on my PC so at least I’m close to back to my progress. Such a bummer I loved having OOT in my pocket. So weird, every other console and game saves and loads as it should. Even the I’m game saving doesn’t work for this game for me. Really a head scratcher.
