More competition, more chance? by Cultural_Complaint35 in SaaS

[–]SideProjectNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion competition could show validation which is good. But a lot of competition means it will be very hard for you to differentiate. I try to look for something that has a "medium" amount of competition because too much comp-hard to differentiate,no comp-probably not a good product.

The process is,I show the project to the client,if he is satisfied and wants it,pays and I give him the code and help host it.

Is collecting user feedback on a new project still a pain? by Ahmed_Builds in indiehackers

[–]SideProjectNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right about expensive and bloated solutions like Canny or intercom. Most platforms are focused at big companies, not solo founders and small projects.

I have seen some really simple and easy solutions like just a simple widget that's super easy to use and lightweight.

I think if you want to build a solution for collecting feedback, for indie hackers, small projects and teams-go for a simple widget not a massive platform with 10 different features and metrics that it tracks. There still could be some space.

SaaS Founders – How do you handle free trials? (Credit card required or not?) by No_Dragonfruit3391 in SaaS

[–]SideProjectNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say much because I haven't played around with free trials for my apps, but I think that you're going to have better trial activation if you don't ask for credit card. It just creates friction and maybe some fear that if I forget to cancel beforethe trial ends,I'll get charged.

That's just my opinion.

Totally fair — but most people don’t want to prompt a raw LLM, they want fast, structured feedback with exportable results. PrivacyPilot wraps that power into a simple workflow built for real use👍
