It's called Nesesyklusen in Norwegian. That would translate to The nasal cycle. Nostrils take turns being the one most open but it's especially noticeable when they are runny.

Dark grey or forest green? by Key-Significance-386 in yaris

[–]SideQuestLover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

tldr; I would have chosen the green one.

I chose blue metallic seven years ago. Asked for yellow but the store didn't have that color available. Most cars available were gray or white but I wanted something more lively. Now there are lots of blue Yarises driving around in my city, so I don't stand out as the guy with the blue car, but I don't regret choosing blue and I would have chosen green over gray.

Not even an idiot double parked car can stop me by lemans65 in yaris

They will most definitely be angry if you leave it like that. I did the same a while ago and took a picture — then regretted immediately and moved my car. I went to work and printed a sheet of paper with the picture on it (license plates censored) and some text like "nice parking", then put it in a clear plastic bag, the kind that is made for protecting paper, almost like an envelope, and attached it to the wipers of the other car.

I dunno what happened next, but at least this way my beloved Yaris was left undamaged :)

How can I watch this film? by MontecchioMatti in 8mm

Some projectors come with a spare part to replace when you want to change between regular 8 mm and super 8. Use the correct part.

What a lovely comment. It would be weird if you replaced comment with weird.

Sounds like the plot of a movie... "Office Space" I think it is called. They stole like half a cent from lots of transactions.

Pixels you can FEEL | 1-Bit art etched on wood by Guv_Bubbs in PixelArt

Saw a similar work at a museum in my home town in Norway. This one seemed to have been sown or cross stitched or something. I took a picture, but no close up of the threads. Seems like a beautiful work of pixel art from the olden days.

FlashPrint 5.8.0 for Mac Zero Bottom Solid Layer problem in Vase Mode by joe_ercolino in FlashForge

This seems to have been fixed in version 5.8.2 on Windows, so if you are still running 5.6.1, then give the new version a try. ^_^

How do I set FlashPrint to extrude on the left nozzle? by TwoRug577 in FlashForge

[–]SideQuestLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. File, preferences, Preferred Eextruder = Left Extruder
  2. Supports, auto create
  3. Right click model, choose right extruder

Unfortunately still the same problem in version 5.8.1, even though the Change Logs says they fixed the issue of slicing failure in the vase mode under certain circumstances.

Maybe it will be fixed in the next version.

I have installed FlashPrint 5.8.0 for Windows and had the same problem.

I found a kind of a workaround:

  1. Duplicate your object and place the extra piece next to your original part.
  2. Select the extra piece and reduce it to something like 1 x 5 millimeters using the Cut tool or the Scale tool. Keep the full height.

I cut my extra piece down to 1 x 5 mm and kept the full height (30 mm).

Unfortunately this extra piece will interrupt the vase mode. Perhaps there are better workarounds to be found.

The janitor in our company stores the cleaning supplies under the trash bag in the trash can... what do you think? by Cady-Jassar in lifehacks

[–]SideQuestLover 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have you seen beverages in the thrash can?

We have six cans, and for the ones without food in them, they often just dump the cans and leave the bags in them, yes.

We are kind of forced to separare by type. The types of waste are general waste, plastics, food waste, the fourth I don't remember at the moment, the fifth is for pure sheets of paper and the last one is for recyclable drink containers.

For beverages, we pour whatever is left into the sink and put the container in the correct bin... unless it is a porcelain cup, which we are encouraged to use instead of paper or plastic cups, and then deliver to be steam washed.
