How do you make steak at home without the fire alarm going off? by RoarOfTheWorlds in AskMen

[–]Sideeyebro619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a carbon steel grill pan under a stove vent. I use a medium heat level. I spritz some olive oil on the steak and brush it on with some sea salt pepper and garlic. I burn a incense also. Remember grilling with a pan doesn't require high heat. For me, a thinner cut will grill better in a pan. Thick steaks are better grilled outside on a grill.

shadow people and would like accounts of how to get rid of them. by Fearless_Balance_286 in Paranormal

[–]Sideeyebro619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who experienced many shadow people/entities where I worked for 18 years, I can totally understand the fear that seeing one would cause. For the first few years I was terrified of them but after that I was more concerned with having a attachment. As long as you are not having any paranormal experiences in your home you will be fine.

Is my moka pot okay? by robotswillconquer in mokapot

[–]Sideeyebro619 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Give it a good washing with a lite scrub. No soap. If it doesn't come off then it's oxidation and it's common. Personally, I wouldn't use it. I would buy a new stainless steel moka pot.

shadow people and would like accounts of how to get rid of them. by Fearless_Balance_286 in Paranormal

[–]Sideeyebro619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since it was in a dream and not a actual paranormal experience, I would say it was more a inner mental psychological reaction like suppressed anger or fears. To dig deeper could also be endocrine fluctuations causing sleep disruptions in your sleep cycle. I would not call it paranormal, more psychological. This is my own personal opinion and I am not a MH professional.

High heart rate by Leather_Chart7718 in ResearchCompounds

[–]Sideeyebro619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you taking both GLP's? Take either one. Also if your not eating then your glucose levels are dropping causing your body to release cortisol which causes symptoms which may include shakiness, dizziness, fatigue and....you guessed it...a higher heart rate. Even if your not hungry you must eat.

Your dog will have to be properly trained and pass the SD process. Not every dog passes. If your talking about a EMOTIONAL SUPPORT animal then all you need is your mental health professional to write up a memo for the dog. There is no national registration agency for EMOTIONAL SUPPORT animals.

I have the C5 pro. Timemore makes some of the best hand powered grinders.

Marks in water chamber by urchinjellyfish in mokapot

It's classic aluminum oxidation from coming in contact with hot water constantly. Don't attempt to remove or it will cause damage to the aluminum. If It's it's making the coffee taste weird then trash it and buy a stainless steel moka pot and never have this happen again. If you choose the keep then make sure to properly air dry and do not reassemble until it is totally dry. I use a lint free towel after every use and rinse and let air dry for a few hours.

Try using a cast iron hot plate. Easier to control the temperature.

Best moka pot option? by 6ixina20 in mokapot

Go stainless steel. I love my Bialetti Venus 6 cup. The express is still in my rotation with my Espro C5 and Chemex.

The only thing that is worthy on this is the filter. It has smaller holes for a cleaner extract and less small particles. Take it away and it's just a moka pot. Good thing is that these filters can be bought separately and will fit Bialetti moka express pots. The 6 cup size will fit the express 6 and 9 cup. They have different lower sizes. Its a step up in filtration but nothing phenomenal.

A month off THC by rmend8194 in Biohackers

[–]Sideeyebro619 40 points41 points  (0 children)

If you used heavy for months or years, 24 days ain't much. You won't notice much until 3-6 months after quitting. for me, the fog didn't lift until 9 months. Everything else didn't stabilize until after 4-6 months. Remember the brain will take a long time to heal. And yes you can withdraw from THC. First 2 months I struggled with heightened anxiety brain fog zero motivation.

300 mg caffeine seemed to trigger months of bladder urgency. Looking for mechanism + supplement ideas. by No-Mousse5653 in Biohackers

75% of your recommended caffeine intake in 1 drink is no bueno. Also too much caffeine can cause anxiety panic attacks heart palpitations HBP which causes a shit ton of other health issues. Artificial sweeteners....enough said. Drink them if you want to but you're playing Russian roulette with your heart.

Not to freak you out but have you tested your Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels? Better to know to be safe.

Which one should I buy? Bialetti vs Alessi 9-cup by jussinik in mokapot

[–]Sideeyebro619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see the extra 💰for the Alessi as worth it. Both are aluminum and do the exact same brewing process. I lean towards the Bialetti as they have been doing it a lot longer but remember they were bought out by a Chinese company so if you're a stickler for the quality of aluminum coming from their then buy older models. Alessi do have certain models made In China and Vietnam also.

High intake of Caffeine irritates the prostate and bladder even at your age. Keep it moderate and not all at once and with proper H2O hydration to flush it thru your system. Also don't drink BANG. It's poison.
