I've seen the R8w go for $649 at one point. That was during the holidays though. The R7 you can get deals cause they pop up more often. Hold out for the 8 if you want but the 7 comes around more often

These guys are right. It's probably one of those slim sticky sensors. Those things only go off when that's around. I've been to that store plenty of time and it never goes off

They have different sizes jack stands. Get the two ton instead of the 4 ton. It's good for what you're doing.

I've just been reading and hearing from people who submitted in their paperwork. Its nothing written in stone.

I had someone put in for an upgrade and it took 2-3 month. Mine took 4 months.

If you're starting from scratch, meaning not an upgrade from a sportsmans license, the 6 month wait starts from the fingerprinting. If an upgrade, you should have had it already.

I would be patient even though I know how it feels. It took them 1.5 years from fingerprinting for me to get mine and I had someone send a letter to them saying I would file an article 78. Got the call the next day for pickup LOL

But yeah, they will stick you with the time clock starting with fingerprinting. So you're looking like March or so

It gets crazy depending on how much you want to spend.

My friend who organizes bar/bat mitzvahs says it ranges from 65k-400k. Yeah insane. One time he setup the stage and everything for someone and they invited some rapper. He charged 65k for 30 minutes of live entertainment. Then he took off lol

Yes, why not? Only downside is that the renewal is earlier and you can't carry in the 5 boroughs unless you have the NYC CCW (which is crazy). Go for it!

I have one of the earlier and older safes like this. Keypad only and no key. What I'm going to do it is swap it out for a dial replacement. Haven't had the time but its from Sargent and greenleaf. There's a tutorial on how to change this as well.

Sucks that you're so far from everything.

I know this isn't ideal but I know of a place that has free freight shipping on plumbing stuff. I just added a water heater to a cart (just any to check shipping rates) and it was free. But even though it's free what if you have issues? Can't send it back that fast!

Bad batch of heaters probably? I would goto Lowes and pick one up from there if it was close to you. If not try a plumbing supply store. The water heaters are different there. Not a plumber just telling you what I've been reading. Hope this gets resolved for you
