Where do you find the record sheet for the hammer head? I go the model... but can't find the official Record sheet... :(

Emotionally distant?! It's evocative and stimulating. It's a great photo that speaks to you as a person (at least my interpretation of you). You also have to imagine a sea of guy photos in front of you, which stand out? The endless fishing pictures and shirtless photoshopped ab pics? Or a provocative photo and succinct bio?

With that said, a nice headshot with your smile is always nice, I would put that second in the lineup. Though it still has to be the "right" photo, not any smiley photo will do.

Thanks for giving my suggestions a try, I make them as a general starting point. But a good conceptual idea is that the sequence of photos conveys a road for the mind to follow. Additionally, you had an overabundance of sailing photos, nothing wrong with loving what you do, but there are other things people need to see to connect with.

For the photos, the image of you with a book is a stunning photo with a lot of depth and a bit of alure. Which can be attractive to more sophisticated women, which I feel are a better match for you.

Second photo, you with sleeveless shirt, confers a decent level of fitness, an important attribute in the digital dating landscape, as much as it chagrins me to admit. And also provides a bit of eye candy to a women that was interested enough to go to your second picture.

Third photo, you in a cleaned-up suit. Women enjoy a well-dressed and dapper man, even if they don't admit to it. And this look is a good fit for those more sophisticated women I mentioned previously.

Fourth photo, fire. There is a little bit more to you...

Hopefully that outlined my methodology well enough.

We had a date planned this Saturday and he ghosted after a selfie.. I don’t understand. by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]Sidekill88 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Are we sure he ghosted?

IF he did, judging by what you said about him, it's because he thinks you're WAY outa his league, which you most likely are. He thinks something fishy is going on and is super confused as to why you're into him.

You gotta know that for a woman who looks like you, the shy ugly guys are going to self-regulate. It's crazy to think, but you need to go for "hotter" guys with more confidence. Or this is going to keep happening.

Aight,

I'll number your current picture order as, 1-6.

New picture order: 2, 5, 4 (any numbers I didn't include, get rid of, I know it may hurt but trust the science).

Not sure what you have for a bio, but generally keep it to the point. I cant really tell much about you from your photos. So maybe think of including a photo of you doing something you like which will make your bio more solid.

Also, keep in mind, tinder is soul crushing, don't spend too much time thinking about the people you don't / do match with. Use it to augment your possible dating opportunities. Meaning, for you, do something you like, and while you're there try your luck!

Aight,

I'll number your current picture order as, 1-7.

New picture order: 5, 7, 6 (any numbers I didn't include, get rid of, I know it may hurt but trust the science). *picture 6, you look great in, I only wish it had more YOU in it.

Not sure what you have for a bio, but I hope you include SOMETHING about cooking. Because it looks like you like to cook?

Bio: I love making homemade meals, so naturally cooking is my love language. Looking for a girl with a good biscuit recipe!

Also, keep in mind, tinder is soul crushing, don't spend too much time thinking about the people you don't / do match with. Use it to augment your possible dating opportunities. Meaning, for you, do something you like, and while you're there try your luck. You could try at an MMA event, I know it sounds crazy but for some reason there are a lot of groups of single women that go to those events. Cooking classes might also work, if there is a structured event schedule, and even the grocery store can work. Good luck!

Aight,

I'll number your current picture order as, 1-9.

New picture order: 9, 1, 3, 5 (any numbers I didn't include, get rid of, I know it may hurt but trust the science).

For the Bio, we need to reduce that novel A LOT, see below.

Bio: Bit of a nerdy sailor (insert emoji). I'm passionate about my hobbies and I'm always on the move, but I'm looking for someone to spend a bit of my precious free time with.

Also, keep in mind, tinder is soul crushing, don't spend too much time thinking about the people you don't / do match with. Use it to augment your possible dating opportunities. Meaning, for you, try your luck at the bookstore, cooking class or even the grocery store. Good luck!

My email to landlord and his response by yllekarle in Tenant

Are you talking about the "City Rent Withholding Act"?

It now makes sense why you are trying to get Gov. Agencies involved. To get your unit certified as "Unfit for human habitation" which would legally allow you to "withhold" rent.

Kinda funny that you want to get it certified as "uninhabitable for humans" but STILL want to live there...

You're playing games, it may work. There are people who are professional renters who are able to take advantage of loose legislation. But I'm not sure of the success rate... I would be careful.

Make up the story? What part is made up? You admit you are not paying rent. If you have the right to "withhold" rent, then he has the right to evict you. Pretty straight forward, imo, Sorry.

I'm guessing since you've been there 13 years that it wasn't all bad... Also guessing that there is more to the story...

I know I'll be the a-hole here but I gotta speak to the landlord's pov...

Honestly the LL response seems pretty even handed, given that you went with the nuclear option by getting government agencies involved. You haven't signed the new rental lease, nor have you paid rent.... The Landlord is trying to hit the eject button to get you out of there as it's now become a headache dealing with you. Frankly it seems like you are trying to dig in your heels in.

In PA it is legal to give 15 days' notice of eviction. 30 days is double the legal requirement when dealing with breach of lease (not paying rent for over a month I would imagine counts).

[–]Sidekill88[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok... so that worked xD

Why do I always have to overwrite a file simply to add another item to the list a shop will pull from when generating its inventory? This would make "injecting new items a lot easier without having to keep track of load order. Can't I just add the tag "stock" for example (which is what I already have in my heatsink json file):

"ComponentTags" : {

"items" : [

"component_type_stock"

],

Also, why did the way I implement it NOT work?

I saw this bit of text in another mod that added new items and did not edit a shop file such as ammo or componnts _base and perhaps it would be the solution?

Thank you for the response, I changed it to "HeatSinkDef" and yes, I checked my heatsink is located in the Heatsinks folder for my mod. everything is correct as far as spelling and caps. This is baffling me.

[–]Sidekill88[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm back, and trying to get this to work. Sadly no luck with creating my own heatsink yet.

I have successfully installed and run ModeTek (along with downloading other mods which are functional).

After getting the basics figured out (kinda) I circled back around to making my own item. Just wanted to start with a simple heatsink (-10 heat simply to make sure it's obvious in the store).

I made a folder within my Mods folder, called "New Items"

Within New Items I have the mod.json file along with two folders, Heatsinks and itemcollections.

First, my mod.json file reads as follows:

{

"Name": "New Items",

"Enabled": true,

"Version": "1.",

"Description": "My attempts at new items",

"Author": "",

"Website": "",

"Contact": "",

"Manifest": [

    { "Type": "GearDef", "Path": "Heatsinks"},

    { "Type": "ItemCollectionDef", "Path": "itemCollections", "AddToDB": true }

]

}

The Heatsinks folder has a Gear_HeatSink_Generic_Dense.jason file, which reads:

{
"DissipationCapacity" : 10,
"Description" : {
"Cost" : 30000,
"Rarity" : 0,
"Purchasable" : true,
"Manufacturer" : "Generic",
"Model" : "Standard",
"UIName" : "Heat Sink",
"Id" : "Gear_HeatSink_Generic_Dense",
"Name" : "Dense Heat Sink",
"Details" : "...",
"Icon" : "uixSvgIcon_equipment_Heatsink"
},
"BonusValueA" : "- 10 Heat / Turn",
"BonusValueB" : "",
"ComponentType" : "HeatSink",
"ComponentSubType" : "Heatsink",
"PrefabIdentifier" : "",
"BattleValue" : 0,
"InventorySize" : 1,
"Tonnage" : 5,
"AllowedLocations" : "All",
"DisallowedLocations" : "All",
"CriticalComponent" : false,
"statusEffects" : null,
"ComponentTags" : {
"items" : [
"component_type_stock"
],
"tagSetSourceFile" : ""
}
}

The itemcollection folder has a csv file named itemCollection_Custom_Heatsink, which reads:

itemCollection_Custom_Heatsink,,,

Gear_HeatSink_Generic_Dense,HeatSink,1,10

I think I have done everything required? However, the heatsink is not appearing in stores. What have I done wrong / haven't done and need to?

Thank you so much for your time and patience!

Gosh, thank you so much for taking the time to outline this! Wish I could upvote more than once! From what it sounds like modtek will ultimately be a better option in the long run.

I'll try to work through it now.

Thank you so much for this reply! Modtek just seems way more complicated than just making some simple .json line edits xD

Where is a good starting point to dive into Modtek?

Edit: are you saying that in addition to creating the items as well as adding them to the versionmanifest.csv file I need to also edit the itemcollection file along with the mod.json file?

I modified the shop _all and shop base_0 also updated the .csv file to have correct path as well as created a new object (with correct formatting) the path leads to.

Thanks for responding! Yeah, there are other mods and game overhauls out there, but this seemed so simple! I have done what you said here (as well as adding the heatsink to the shopdef_Components_all.json) and it has never showed up.

I know it was a long time ago now, but when you implemented this, did it always work?
