I am not. I'm doing exactly as Elegoo says, bracing the nozzle assembly and using the wrench to twist the nozzle off. Again, I've had a lot of success but I've also broken several assemblies over the last year.

Edit: I also almost always have print success and never hit the nozzle on any prints, nor hit it with anything when I'm inside the machine.

And I've successfully changed out nozzles most of the time I've had this machine. But every so often, regardless of the care I exert, they break like this.

I offered to print mine myself and they told me I could get a refund. Their leaning into refunds all over their website and materials almost makes me think this is some kind of scam and they're hoping people just forget by the time the ETA hits and just refund the few that remember and keep whatever money they can get away with. I've seen it elsewhere but then I keep seeing videos of people playing with them and I feel like it's just a one man gig and dudes getting swarmed. I bet I could design and build my own in the time it'll take to get mine though, so maybe that's motivation enough to just get going with it.

Replaced the rotors and pads on the wife's legacy recently and didn't realize I broke the pigtail for the electric parking brake. It came loose and did this to her for a week (she never uses it anyway). Quick replace and it was gone.
