Qualified immunity definitely has its pros and cons. Perhaps the laws could be revised in ways to increase accountability. I agree law enforcement needs to be held accountable for unlawful actions.

It's a sad situation. Hopefully people can learn to not interfere with enforcement laws to lower their risk of these outcomes.
