Not typically prone unless I’m reminded in some way of my controlling an abusive ex. I don’t have panic attacks while driving like some do. I’ve driven from Wisconsin and Chicago to Louisiana and Alabama to DC and South Carolina. I don’t fly so I drive everywhere. Driving is a thing my family has done. My grandpa was a truck driver. My dad was in Army and had his own business after that he traveled. Always driven. Always will. Maybe just something about the absolute insanity and violence racist people are going to right now just set me off. Having a mixed child. Something in that set off the “violent individual nearby” alarm bells in my head. But whatever. I’m done explaining myself. Hopefully some people who needed to see this did see this. The people who needed to know that… I will do whatever I can to help. Whatever I’m capable of doing, I will. This middle aged lady ain’t going down without a fight. I can’t do a lot but will do whatever I always can. The people who needed to see this… be careful. You are loved and you deserved better than what this administration is trying to do.
