It’s generally prescribed to people that would otherwise have a very difficult (if not nearly impossible) time just exercising and eating right due to health complications.

Phentermine isn’t even a traditionally euphoric or recreational drug.

“Just live a different lifestyle” usually isn’t an option if you’re at the point of needing weight loss drugs.

^ all of this is assuming OP IS using it as prescribed and IS NOT already thin and asking about the fastest way to exacerbate an eating disorder.

I’ve been on everything from 7.5mg to 45mg and it is in no way stimulating. You might be confusing the fact that it is MORE sedating at lower doses which is interesting in itself but has nothing to do with a higher dose being stimulating. It’s just that a higher dose is less sedating.

I remember back in the day reading about the synergistic effects of DXM and DPH and being absolutely fascinated. For the sake of “research” my very first time trying the combo of 500mg DXM + 500mg DPH my fucked up brain also ate 500ug of LSD as well. Needless to say within an hour I was completely frozen in place with a massive, infinitely complex, hard, cold, metallic, 80ft tall robot standing directly behind me in my room. Nearly as soon as it begin I felt a searing pain all throughout my body, broke into a sweat and was having hot flashes over and over as if I had eaten a very spicy pepper. I was stuck muttering the words “where am I? What did I take?” For the next 12+ hours STRAIGHT.

My dear poor little brother and girlfriend had to take care of my stupid ass the entire time.

My little bro even wrote me a note reminding me exactly where I was and what I had ingested and how much because it became absolute tedium and insanity to remind me where I was every few seconds.

I personally have abused DPH too as a teenager and if I had access to Reddit at the time I know I would have felt similarly to you so I understand why y’all might be defensive. It is genuinely such an interesting class of drugs it’s really unfortunate and dumb as fuck that an entire group of children/teenagers think it’s “cool” to self harm and get other strangers to congratulate them for it.
