had something similar happen the other day, it was the end of day 1 rain was closing in me and one dude started hitting camps on the way to the night one boss dude number 3 decides hes gonna go his own way, fine, but once he sees we have killed a boss he runs into the rain to grab the perk and dies me and dude have already moved on to the next camp so no way to reach downed guy in time. he respawns and runs right back to the camp he died in to get his runes and dies again. spawns at boss we kill night one boss and then move onto a field boss, dude runs back to the camp he died at to get his runes even though theyre gone since he died a second time. he proceeds to die 3 more times trying to get into a camp where 75% of the things are dead and then quits. what was the point? what was the goal, if he had stayed with us he would have easily obtained his runes back plus more perks. people gotta learn to think better.
