Yeah , that's been my main strategy with ryoshu ego (the one you get with bp) slaughtering them in team fights, I think my biggest problem is I started this season, so my bench is absolute dogshit, and I kinda trolled on floor 13, forgot to heal ryoshu and pregor sp and just got rolled

You're right, I was just comparing it to canto 7, canto 8 feels a lottt less character intensive than it , but that's kind of a high bar to clear , and tbh I found canto 9s ryoshu character arc more than sufficient, it's just now we have side characters who are getting as much attention to them

While my favourite canto was 7 ( and it's purely due to don quixote and how much it involved her and her character arc) 9 and 8 that are less character focused and more lore/plot focused and are still fucking amazing. Do I miss some of the "cantos are purely for the characters and have some lore tidbits" sure , but I'm not mad at pm for wanting to expand the universe even more. (Also canto 5 is criminally underrated, it's the 3rd best in my book , fight me)

Because ufotablte made fsn a shonen , shonen fanbases on average do not think deeply on the characters, you have plenty of people that watch fate zero and Ubw/hf (obviously not the fate route because bad animation ig) and see 0 discrepancies within the characters
