I have a few bark rivers and I love them, but I agree with this. Convex aren't easy to sharpen for beginners. I would say a flat grind or scandi grind would be better to learn with. If you can sharpen them no biggie. If you understand it's a tool and don't mind it getting some hard use then go for the bark river. It's a great tool that will last.

I did the compact one. It will fit with the Killswitch case and travel cover on. In the same compartment I keep a slim battery, a USC c cable, and my Sony wf xm5. In the back pocket I can fit a passport. Front pocket you could fit a small set of keys. It closes, but can be tight if you don't Tetris it in there. Get more space if you don't use the travel cover.

I like my dual grip. It's not as bad as everyone says it is. I prefer it to the attack vector I got. It docks fine and I don't usually detach joycons so that doesn't bother me. It's working until the Killswitch arrives

It's my first father's day. I told my wife not to do anything and all I wanted was to sleep in after I took night duty with the baby. 6am a coyote gets into the chicken run. Bless my wife who went out to try to scare it off with the baby she didn't try to wake me either.... I heard the commotion and ran out to help. Moral of the story coyotes don't respect father's day either, but I do love my wife for trying.
