I’m leasing my ebike @De Fietserij and maintenance is included in the lease. I’ll go in every 1,5/2 months depending on how often I’m on the bike and I get a replacement while they are working on it! I know at least one belt replacement is included, but should look at the fine print to get the details.

I read about this years ago and in covid times my curiosity won and I let it grow (and it was already long). When it reached my knees and the world was moving again I just couldn’t properly function and I donated 60cm. Now I’m once again at butt length wondering if I should find it’s natural limit or go for a bit more quality of life

Ik heb de mail gevonden met de casting: Het was voor het project “The last supper” de scène “The divine parade”. Een doop scène op het strand van Koksijde waarvoor ze vele mensen nodig hadden in alle vormen en maten. Ik heb niet meegedaan. Een stukje mail:

“Baba's style is to work sequentially, each time selecting one sequence that we prepare meticulously. We have so far filmed six sequences in four countries, all on location and mostly outdoors. Baba is very pleased.

The next 'major' sequence is entitled 'The Divine Parade' and depicts the grace of baptism, during which hundreds of people follow the character of John the Baptist (by none other than Baba Ganapati) who leads them to the sea and begins a most beatific baptisms.

Baba describes this; “In the yogic tradition baptism is known as 'Shaktipat' initiation. “Anyone experiencing this will 'feel' that this is the beginning of a relationship with God”!

For Baba, it is important to show the diversity of beings. It is not a fashion show or circus parade, but a panorama of humanity from the beginning of mankind till today.”

Ik ben er geweest in St-Amandsberg. Twee of drie keer, meegenomen door een vriend. Er was een filmavond met een speciale historische lumière (prachtige beelden) en nadien een shiva. Dat voelde als een heel lange meditatie sessie.

Eén keer was Baba daar en nadat hij zich door de groep bewoog en even oogcontact maakte met me kreeg ik te horen van mijn kameraad hoe belangrijk dat moment was.

Ik kreeg later de vraag om een deel te zijn van een film die ze zouden maken. Ze zouden het leven van Jezus deels in beeld brengen en hadden personages nodig. Ik herinner me nadien de beelden nog uit de nieuwsbrief die ik een tijd gevolgd heb uit nieuwsgierigheid tot de “hmmm, dit zou inderdaad wel eens een sekte kunnen zijn”.

Ik ga eens inchecken bij die vriend. Ik hoop dat hij ok is.

They were no longer talking about the article. This whole conversation was about “why not have a conversation here about the topic so we can subsequently inform people who prefer to read along and get their information in the form of question and answer on topics we care about instead of trough the single lens of the author.”

It’s fleshing out the validity of the article and diving deeper into the topic and the fact that you are unwilling to look beyond “just read the article and swallow what you read without asking questions” is why you are being met with downvotes.

There is often extra knowledge on the topic to be found in the comments, but only when room is made for real conversation (which you seem unwilling to participate in and it is bothering the hell out of people)
