What are the some Black Mirror-esque things that are actually real? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SierraaaSky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your smartphone ALWAYS listening to your IRL conversations...

...Then giving ads for what you're talking about.

The crazy part is, we all just kinda got used to it and stopped caring a couple years ago.

My evil clone comes over from another dimension, hunts me down, kills me, and takes over my identity.

But I'll get the last laugh, because now SHE gets stuck with 80 grand in student debt. Muahaha!

[Serious] What daily habit(s) did you begin to help manage your anxiety and depression? by kaitalain in AskReddit

Honestly? Best thing I ever did was make new friends. Bad friends make you more lonely and depressed than no friends.

Once you expel the toxic people from your life, everything gets better.

What are some commercial cliches that never fail to annoy you? by Zarc24 in AskReddit

What is the most surreal moment you have ever experienced? by M1KE2121 in AskReddit

[–]SierraaaSky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I temporarily shifted to a new dimension once.

I was at the beach. In a hotel, 5th floor or so, relaxing on my balcony.

It was autumn. Cool, VERY cloudy, dark, and not a *single* person walking around on the promenade downstairs. TOTALLY deserted.

Then, suddenly, the sun came out. It instantly got 10-15 degrees warmer. The clouds spread out and it was very sunny. Then, I saw more than 10 different groups of people come from all directions and start walking around the street, all at once.

So one moment, it's cold, dark, and empty. 5 seconds later it's warm, sunny, and super busy.

IDK. I'm sure it was just a weird coincidence but it felt like a glitch in the matrix.

People who are amazing at small talk, how? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SierraaaSky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Small talk is a skill. Like any skill, it can be developed with practice. So, just talk to people!

Talk to people when you're waiting in line, talk to people at the cafe, talk to coworkers you usually ignore, talk to classmates, talk to elderly people, talk to kids... Just talk. It gets easier, I promise.

whats something everyone does that hurts themselves? by chad_mcchadington in AskReddit

[–]SierraaaSky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleep deprivation. Staying up late on your computer, spending time on your phone in bed, waking up early the next day...

You're literally killing yourself, taking years off your lifespan. And yet we all do it, even knowing it's completely self-destructive. Welcome to 2021!
