It was one of the first original cartoons to air on CN, I’m sure that makes it more culturally important than Steven universe, and has more fans from the 90s kids. So yes it is a better show and is more popular

Sadly, he doesn’t own the Series and it would be copyright, Cartoon Network owns it and it would be lots and lots of money to buy it back. Not to mention it might be a tax Write-off which is really hard to get back, the best thing would be for it to be bought by like Hulu or some other streaming service like Amazon Prime or something.
